1 tablespoon Milo per 5 weet bix is my ratio!

If that isn't bitter enough, then your dad's nuts.

A T-bone with chips and gravy

  • +1

Hot milk, cardamom, saffron, sliced banana, ground roasted pistachio and almonds

  • Frozen berries. I've been eating them with yogurt each morning for around a decade. Put in bowl the night before, cover, and next morning they're nicely defrosted. If you have access to a Costco I recommend their berries. Blueberries from USA, raspberries from Serbia. Both very juicy and high quality. Around $7/kg.

I used to put banana and honey and milk

I put muesli and a shot of espresso in my weetbix. seriously.

  • Vouch peanut butter

  • +1

    Granola or muesli!
Mango or pineapple is nice too when in season
I also like a drizzle of tahini

    Cinnamon and honey

Throw the weetbix box out and eat bacon and eggs. Low carb. Keto FTW

      Agreed!

Weetbix and anything you make them taste good is ALL carbs

Bacon and eggs sounds unhealthy, but it's only protein and zero carbs

  • There is something that every male can produce which is high in protein that you could try.
    I have not.

    • +2

Toenails. Chest hair. Keratin is very high in protein.

  • Crushed milk arrow biscuits gives it a malt taste

  • +4

    bikies

  • Coated in margarine/butter and then dipped in black tea.

Yummness…. yes my record is 18 in a row. (No exaggeration).

    • But what do you do with the Buttery tea?

  • This may sound strange, but I spread peanut butter (nutty) or Nutella on them, before dunking in milk.

4 wheetbix (2 spread with Nutella, 2 with peanut butter) + a whole banana sliced 1cm pieces + full cream milk drizzle of honey.

  • Have 'em plain. Not bad I tell ya. Speaking of Weetbix, I'll share a story:
Once in highschool I won a large box of weetbix, I decided to have a competition with classmates to see who can eat X amount fastest. After nearly choking a few times I won. Good times..

Seriously though, as mentioned above sounds good!

Edit: I should mention the competition was guessing how many condoms there were in a jar. I got a chocolate block too.

    milk

  • jam one in the mouth on the way out. thats brekie sorted.

  • Maple syrup and cream…a family favourite 😱

  • I eat mine plain, like a biscuit.

  • 4 weetbix + 1 banana.

Splash of honey if your into that sort of thing.

  • Sultanas - soak in water
    Homebrand canned two fruits

  • I use to drink my weetbix, 3 weetbix, milk, banana, 2 eggs, protein powder, honey. Put it the blender. Chug it down rocky styles.

  • This might sound stupid. I actually have it with milk and brown sugar. Just a satchet of it.

  • I don't have weetbix, but I do have a mix of muesli and nuts, and what I do every night is to pour frozen fruit such as mangoes, raspberries, strawberries and pineapples into a bowl and put it in the fridge. In the morning all I do us plop a dollop of Greek yoghurt and the fruits into my muesli and off I go.

For the health nuts, frozen fruits are just about as nutritious as fresh as they don't undergo much breakdown or oxidation prior to freezing.

    Milo. It's the best

    • +1

Used to think so but f**k the sugar content is strong!

    • Agreed, milo.

  • Nutella, does that count as other unhealthy stuff? lol

    • Nutella starts to look pretty good if all you have is Coca Cola and Nutella.

    Weetbix are bad, all carbs
    Not healthy at all
Everything I see in this thread is "weetbix, banana, honey, sugar, etc" all carbs, terrible, just buy an up n go if that's what you are doing

    • You clearly have no appreciation for the science of nutrition.

    • Weetbix are bad, all carbs

But but but, it's the breakfast of champions mate!

    • Ahhh another fool sprouting the "carbs is bad" nonsense.

      • How about "excess carbs are bad"
Weetbix per 100g (about 4 weetbix) is 67grams of carbs - without milk (5grams of carbs per 100ml) or sugar (4grams of carbs per teaspoon)
Let alone banana which is 23grams of carbs per 100grams (1 small banana)
All of this before you have even stepped out of the doors in the morning
It's very easy to over do carbs during your day

    Why not Beer?

  • Whey powder, milk and banana.

    • That's the whey!

  • +2

    More weetbix

  • Plain or with brown sugar :)

  • Hot milk - its the best thing to happen to Weetbix - easy to eat and like porridge

  • Didn't see anybody on the first page mention it which I think is crazy, honey! I put a drizzle of honey on my 6 when I eat them with paul's gold extra creamy milk, also try ginger syrup.

  • I'm thinking maybe melted Belgian chocolate on top - or maybe that's overkill!

  • I'd get a Weet-Bix alternative because it's owned by a church

    • A pretty inoffensive church. I wouldn't worry too much.

    • Churches have the best barn raisings.

  • fish and chips from hanson

  • Peanuts, sultanas, banana.

Try using brown sugar if nothing else.

Warm milk that has been slowly poured onto a working male plumbers back and you have to make sure it trickles down into his crack and then collected into a KFC bucket right underneath his nutsack. For the best tasting results I have been told straight from Tony Abbotts mouth that a hairy crack and balls gives the milk just the perfect amount of salty tasting man follicles.

    • ……whaaaaaaaaaaaaat???

  • Alright everyone it sounds like banana and XYZ is the winner. I'll try a few of these different options (maybe i'll skip the dry + vegemite, and warm milk + sweaty ballsack)

  • Chia seeds soaked in Macadamia milk and whatever fresh fruit I have sitting around.
Takes about 15 minutes for the chia seeds to get to the right consistency, but it's healthy and tastes nice.

I normally sprinkle on a few gold coins, about $5-7 worth. Or if I'm feeling extra decadent, some smashed avocados.

    • Oh, fancy!

  • Just add milk. Or if you want extra add banana or strawberries

  • One or 2 spoonfuls of Koja (www.koja.com.au). I even add the salad toppers to my Weetbix!

  • Milk

  • I'd love to have a talk with the person who popularised cereals for breakfast. For breakfast you can eat anything you damn please. No need to have it restricted by stupid cereals. If you must have cereals, just prepare some oats. Oats are one of the few things that haven't been bastardised completely. Most cereals are utter tosh with no nutritional value, then fortified with synthetic nutrients to make up for what they have lost (or never meant to have), and sugared like mad. If you must have Weet-Bix, they can probably easily be substituted by Vita Brits (or similar wheat biscuits). Why?

Weet-Bix ingredients: Wholegrain wheat (97%), raw sugar, salt, barley malt extract, vitamins (niacin, thiamin, riboflavin, folate), mineral (iron)

Vita Brits, last I checked (I haven't eaten it for years) isn't fortified with synthetic nutrients from a lab, nor does it have sugar added. But I am probably speaking to the wall, since people will eat what they are used to, and it's hard to make them change. Which is why there is so much power in shaping eating choices when a person is young: they become customers for life.

On a related note, if you think honey is good for you, and you buy it from the supermarket (and not someone you know owning bees) then you'll be interested in this internet search: "fake honey". The food supply has been bastardised completely, and your lovely gov is being paid to be quiet about all the fraud. There is also a worlwide bee shortage. Not surprising with all the GMO garbage being grown and rampant enviro destruction. I shouldn't get into the GMO depopulation agenda here, should I? No. That is all.

      that you Pete Evans?

      • I had to look up Pete Evans, so I guess that means I am not him.

    • Who would you like to blame? Let's not give up on life just yet.

      • "let's not give up on life just yet"

I don't know what your definition of life is, but one of the main things to me is not being manipulated & lied-to and then going off and paying the manipulators and liars for the privilege. If anyone has given up on life, it's those patenting the food supply. www.gmoevidence.com causing untold deaths and disease worldwide

        fake honey: http://www.abc.net.au/news/rural/2015-10-02/global-fight-aga…
Nice even playing field. Those playing by the rules get shafted by those who aren't. Lovely gov will take care of it, don't worry bro. Yet if you or I did this, we'd be in jail: not enough bribe money to go 'round. If you're big enough, you can do what you want.

    teaspoon of cement

    • harden the fcuk up

  • A sprinkle of Milo over the top is nice, turns the milk chocolatey too 👍

That or honey. Sugar free yoghurt??

  • Potatoes and rice. Potatoes and rice on everything.

  • Just chuck a whole bunch of fruit in there- as much as you can. Brekky is an easy way to fill up on all the nutrients and vitamins you need from fruits. You could stew apples and pears the night before so they're nice and soft and add a little sugar if you really want. Frozen berries are cheaper and modern methods lock all/most of the nutrients. Beware about the Hep A contamination though.

Easy solution : Bananas and a drizzle of honey/maple syrup
