Received an email from Qantas saying you can claim 250 free points by updating your app and exploring your feed. I found mine about half way down. Confirmed working on a friends account. Not sure if offered to everyone though…

Finally found the feed but can't find anything on the bonus points
you need to opt-into the "competitions" category on the Feed Preferences.
I did but I can't find anything on my feeds page. Might be targeted?
I think it takes a while after you update existing preferences to refresh the feed, I would try later (e.g. tomorrow)
once you update the feed preferences..
kill the app and relaunch it.that will update the feed and then you can see this banner of 250 points.
thanks. updated preference but still no luck. even quit the app and got back in again to force it to refresh

Same thing happened when I tapped the collect points button! I've sent an email to [email protected] asking how to restore hidden/swiped feed content.
Guess they did that on purpose, dodgy app.

FYI the feed section doesn't work if you're still running Android KitKat. I saw the free 250 points but tapping it caused it to flick away. Then the Qantas app had the nerve to tell me something went wrong hah. And now the 250 points item has disappeared so no points for me. Thanks anyway…
Didn't show up in my feed even though I got the email. Maybe an issue with Android as it popped up with an error message in the feed a few times
I found mine on the second page. It also kept bugging out at that moment; not anymore but the points bit doesn't appear anymore so I hope it's worked. Almost as if it's being OzBargain'd atm lol

I did this, however after clicking next page I got an error 'must have an internet connection' or similar. Obviously I had an internet connection, so I suspect that the next page may have been blocked by my ad blocker (adaway). The question now is, will I get the points or not?
I got the same error… Just keep pressing refresh/retry to ensure some data gets through.
If you go back and view page 2 of feeds again, the 250 points banner should be gone.
I assume that means success.

For those that still cant find it, try the following.
- You need to go to Feed page,
- How to go there: On the Home page, click top right (icon of a man), this will take you Feed page.
- IF you cant see it, it might be on the next Feed page, scroll to the very bottom and click next, you should find it here.

Some advice for anyone that didn't get points. You can use the Qantas lifestyle survey to get points an unlimited amount of times.. I usually get 150 or 250 and I space each time I fill out the application by about a month.

Make sure you hit next on the feed within the app then click collect the 250 points.
I don't have a next option.
Click on your name profile etc then click the feed tab scroll to the bottom then hit next it should be displayed there

Been adding everything to my feed. Using iOS. Nothing.
@bluedufflecoat: Then you go into the feed and start scrolling through offers/info presented. Swipe those you don't like and heart those you like.
Keep scrolling and it will appear.

Given I'm not the only person on here who says it hasn't worked, might be a possibility that it's targeted.
