Looks aren't every thing. The question is will it fall apart. But by the sounds of it it's alright in that area too when it comes to durability.

  • Any reviews? Can't find anywhere

      • It looks like a different chair to the one linked.

        • true that. it had me on ergonomic aldi.

Bought one last year. The cushion is thin, the headrest is rigid and uncomfortable and the chair creaks after a few months, eben though no user is over 70kg.

  • If it's like everything else they sell, it will fall apart the day after the warranty runs out

  • I bought one 2 years ago, use every day for 3 hours or more, quite comfortable, no problems, still going strong.
No young kids; just one ol' fart.

I'll be sure to put a towel down in future

    • In that case you may want to discretely check the rest of the house and other items of furniture for less visible stains.

I brought a similar looking chair from a chair shop back in 2011. Paid $450 for it at the time. It had a 5 year warranty n the handrest fell off as well as the head rest broke. It was too bothersome to bring it back for warranty (transporting the whole chair in the car back to place of purchase)I cant say if the audi one is the exact same model with the same materials. But thats just my exp

I have something similar. It's great as long as you don't use it on soft carpet.

  • PU padded seat is a deal-breaker for me.

I bought one of these today and just wanted to give you my review.

First up - its not the same chair that people complained about last year. Aldi are usually pretty good that when something they bring out is a bit crappy, they update the design the next year.

So to the chair - there is not an inch of PU plether on this chair. its all constructed in fabric mesh. My 2 chairs (not aldi) were PU and they peeled and looked awful, so I was really happy that this wasnt fake leather.

The seat cushion is thick and comfortable. Its probably about 2 inches thick - enough from my backside to be happy.

The ergonomic back support is awesome. My back was in such pain due to a previously crap chair, this support is so good.

It's solid construction - none of the complaints people had about the last chair are valid with this one - doesn't squeak, solid centre pillar, nothing broken or fallen apart. Of course, I've only had it for a few hours - but with 60 day no-quibble return and a one-year warranty, I'm a happy camper.

If you need a chair, its worth grabbing one.

    • Thanks, that is useful information.

  • Can someone advise how far back this chair reclines?

    • Enough for me to get laid. Guaranteed.
