Most of these not available online, but confirmed a few items in at least one Melb store, so should be stock floating around. Prices in-store may differ from online (see comments).

Thanks to moneymoo & Price Hipster, there seems to be stacks of discounts, although stock may be the issue. Click here for full list.

      Thanks. Fixed.

If only Big W had online sales that are accessible like almost all other major stores. It's 2017; come on, Big W!

Their website breaks more often than Deadpool breaking the fourth wall.

I'm not sure if they even run their online store?

    • Guys, it's current year.

  • Quite a few things out of stock

    • I'm guessing that one will be extremely difficult to find. $15 for a stick mixer with attachments is amazingly cheap - and I was looking at it too but no stock near me (I'm in Brisbane too).

  • +8

I doubt anyone would ever pay $189 for a stick mixer…

    • +5

Bamix make a stick mixer with a 20 year (motor) warranty. Fantastic unit and very powerful.

      Worth the $180 pricetag.

  • +6

There's also some TVs, phones, clothes, shoes on massive clearance. Price hipster - options - stores "Big W" - days since price change {2}. Pretty much all of it is OOS online so get to your local nice and early tomorrow.

    • +2

Thank you. Added to the bottom of the OP :)

  • +4

I highly doubt the stock availabilty even in every store around Australia. Employees grab everything before general public buy it. So it's just a matter of luck finding it.

    • +2

Half the time I go in there the price is full price on the shelf but no ticket showing the sale.

But Scans at the price scanner and register. Appears they don't even know about it half the time.

      • +2

Yes, it's true that the employees don't always know or care about the sale. It's just simply low or no stock in stores. So don't just blame the employees (of any company in general, not just Big W) if you can't buy what you wanted. And yes, I am a Big W staff who doesn't know about this sale.

        • -1

Sorry for getting offended. The statement is not just targeted to big W, that's how it is in all retails. I used to work in retail not long ago, and even before I was aware of sales, another collegue already got them. So it would depend on who does the ticketing and putting out clearance tickets. If clearance is dirt cheap, employees would the first to notice.

  • Is this instore though

Note the 'Online Price' comment on some of this.

  • Had called up Auburn, Bankstown. No stock for the Breville blender

  • Awesome price on the JuiceFountain; it's a great machine, especially at that price. +1

    • +5

      Did you get one ?

      • Nah, I got one at that price from target clearance about a year ago.

    • +1

Mine is in the cupboard. Cleaning it is a bit of a pain.
Kind of 'was a good idea, too much effort' type of appliance.

Most comments so far indicates that there is no stock on most products listed. No offence to TA, but how can this post accrue so many Positive votes when none have commented to confirm that they managed to grab any product!

Positive Vote -The deal is good

How can it be The deal is good when stock is low or none is my concern!

        • +16

I agree. There is virtually no stock.

        • If just one OzB'r manages to get a bargain from TA's effort than it's a good deal.

        • @nocure: Yeah, that is the OZB spirit! But my point was just blindly voting as good deal!

        • +3

          @FUZHA:

I voted according to availability, as such I couldn't upvote this one.

        • +1

@Click_It: Certainly your philosophy would enable the actual bargains to appear on the top of the list. Blindly upvote would not help OZB, as per my understanding.

Anyway good luck to who ever manages to grab at least some of the listed stuff.

        • @nocure:

It is good of TA, but I thought it was, if 10 OzB'r can get in on it … then it's a deal.

No vote: The deal doesn't apply to you

        • +7

I disagree, especially if a hundred people spend an hour going to their nearest store when there is no stock of anything for sale. Big waste of time vs one person actually buying something cheaply.

    • -5

how can this post accrue so many Positive votes when none have commented to confirm that they managed to grab any product!

OzBargain's voting system has long turned into a popularity/hype voting system. It's no longer really reliable to measure the quality of a deal based on votes anymore, as new users just vote + for the sake of it, or if the OP is well known. Also people get upset when people vote negs because they think it's mean.

      • +9

If we relied on you to post a deal, there'd be no deals, no voting, and sadly no OzBargain. Your continuous crapping on people's posts with your inconsequential comments has really become irritating. Hope others see right through it.

        • +7

More like crapping on every TA deal*

      • +6

Agree, blind + vote would defeat purpose of the community feature of best dealing being listed at the home/ front page of the site.

      • -4

Agreed and the votes on your comment and the subsequent replies evidence as such.

    • +1

      It's TA, duh??

  • Couldn't find anything in stock at my 2 locals. I hope others have more success.

  • No stock of breville at melb cbd, the kambrook blitzpro is available but scans at 99.

    • Yep, and if you ask the store to check the online price they say it cannot be honoured as the online price is different to in store.

      • Same as at Mt Ommaney in Bris, stock of the BlitzPro (5-6+) at $99 but they won't match the $15 price. "Online only"

    • Are you sure is the same product? I found one too in Brissie CBD, but it turned out to be the champagne model while the online one is the silver. Different codes.

  • For Victoria it's showing these three stores as the only ones with possible stock for the Breville the All in One 700W Stick Mixer

    • How did you find this info?

      • +15

Found this search by accident one day whilst looking for stock levels of an item and typing random shit into google.

        https://www.bigw.com.au/bigwstore-pickup/WCC100000000073659/…

You just change the "wcc1000 etc" number to whatever number is in the url of each item, as shown below at the end of the breville stick mixer url. It doesn't seem to let me change the postcode though, no idea where the "distance from" location is.
        https://www.bigw.com.au/product/breville-the-all-in-one-700w…

        • +1

Love it! Will save the link for future searches. The stores always say you. Have to ring each store to check stock, this is a cool trick😉 cheers Lunawinter
Also, there is a box there that allows you to change the postcode…
Retract retract, the box is a dud!

        • Can't edit my post now, but it's not the distance from Southland because it's included in the list haha.. I have no idea where it's from but it's somewhere in Victoria.

        • @DaWeizOne:

No worries! yeah it's quite handy, though TBH I haven't found anything i've searched for in stock close enough for me to check how accurate it is! hopefully it's correct though :)

And yeah, shame the post code box doesn't work, but at least I live in VIC so it's still useful for me haha.

        • +4

I think the distance is from the Westfield Southland store in VIC.

Thanks for that link (we are using it to add stock levels to OP now). The store is based on what you have set on bigw.com.au so you can change your store location there and then refresh the link to get stock levels at any location.

        • @hamza23:

No worries! and good to know, thanks. :)

        • Thanks for the link

But not sure if it works properly, set different postcode at bigw web, the stock level is different. either showing all low stock or out of stock, Bigw website is just crap

        • @rartelif:
For example, search juice fountain, set 3128 BOX HILL as my location, the Bigw SEARCH ENGINE will tell both box hill and doncaster are out of stock AGAINST OP's Doncaster is in stock. Still better to ring and check stock.

        • @rartelif:
me too random stock levels in and out.
dont think its a stable tool

        • @rartelif:

Ah good to know, it's a shame i've never found something I wanted in stock to test it out, but thanks for posting this, hope others read it before they go rushing out thinking its 100% accurate.

        • Thank you!!!it came up with my closest WA stores when i clicked it :)

        • They used to have this built in on the item link before.. dunno why they removed it. Thanks Lunawinter!

    • And I mean VIC/NSW, unsure if other NSW stores have anything though (if there's more than one) as I cant seem to change the postcode to somewhere else for the search.

  • nvm …

    • +1

      What's on your mind EC?

  • Doesn't appear to be much stock of anything in QLD

    • +1

Wasn't any stock to begin with. I checked a number of them and the system reported no stock online or in store (anywhere)

      • Yep same.

      • Online is totally different comparing to the shops.

        • there is an option for searching stores. The system will tell you its not available in any stores if you try a search.

        • @unifex:

i used to be able to use that feature but now it doesn't appear for me? tried different browsers too :S

  • Bought this 📺 today for a Relo

    40" FHD Viano for $159.20
    https://www.bigw.com.au/product/viano-40-full-hd-led-lcd-tv/…

Not sure I'd hold any hope of finding anything that says Low Stock
    https://www.bigw.com.au/bigwstore-pickup/WCC100000000027496/…

    • Before I posted mine, I rang a few bigw to confirm with the price for the sale items. (I even went to one of the shops to check the price and found it was so different comparing to the online sale.) Same item, from the shop, after the scan, it appeared to be more expensive either with some or without any discount. I got the answer. It could be different if you buy it online or via the shop. Online will have more discount but with very limited stock. Online will ask you for the delivery fee instead of picking it up from the shop. It happens all the time. If you are willing to pay the postage and lucky enough to find one online, then you just have to purchase it online.

    • how did you get that stock checker to appear?

      • +1

        oh nvm thanks to Lunawinter

        • Maybe BigW could put that feature back on their site, as it comes and goes.

      • You mean the toaster? I just randomly came back to check it again (meanwhile I was buying something else online). The $5 toaster appeared to be in the stock again for two times. Then I posted my post as I knew it could be purchased online. It was sold out again within a few minutes.

  • How do I check to see if they have store stock in in wa

    • Not sure.

I don't think they have any stock in WA

      • The open at 11…?

    • Set your location on bigw site, then the stock searches will be local to you.

    • None stock in WA. I rang three different stores and found out there was online only. Thus the person from BigW told me to buy online and get more discount comparing to the stores. (I did find the same item sale from the store and online. But the scanned price from the store was either the original price or with a bit discount but not the same discount as online. Online will provide you huge discount.)

  • +1

In eastland, kambrook blitz pro in stock, scan at $99 instead of $15 online

    • Online only. No need to check it in the store.
I did find it out by yesterday.

  • +1

Also the steam iron is still $19, believe the sale is online only, everyone should just give up stock checking

    • I can also confirm this. Woden, Canberra store said that cannot match their own online price?!
I appreciate the efforts, but this ruins it for me.

  • Can someone please reply with what they bought? I can't find any stock at the prices posted.
