That's an entirely different topic of discussion whether it is worth spending ff points on marked-up stuff in rewards stores at all. It would be in the same category as spending your google opinion rewards on $0.20 sale of usually marked-up apps and does not call for a neg. The deal here is 44200 points instead of the usual 55600 points.
And for 44,000 points you can fly return to Bali, so where's the deal? Just because it was vastly overpriced and now it's just overpriced doesn't make it a bargain.

You can get these for $259 from Myer with ANNIVERSARY20.. Such a waste of points if you buy from velocity.

The one you linked is Apple specific SoundTrue (wired). SoundLink II is not Apple specific and is BT+Wired.
