I just bought some earphones today for $160, but you don't have to suffer the same fate.

Gearbest are having a flash sale on certain Xiaomi products and the earphones caught my attention:

  Anyone got any experience with the Xiaomi bluetooth sports headphones? Looking at getting one but can't find many reviews.

    I just received a set of the Xiaomi bluetooth sports headphones.

    Good: Solid bluetooth connection, fit around the ears well, neck strap/wire doesn't stick/pull, stay in ears when running, look decent, work fine for phone calls.

    Not so good: Sound was really tinny (using with a Redmi Note 2) - I downloaded an equaliser app which has made them sound much better (at the expense of lower M
    max volume). I can directly compare to my Taotronics BT headphones (around $50) and they sounded much better. Also, they don't come with a case/pouch which the Taotronics pair did.

      Follow up. Seems I needed some education on IEMs, once the Xiaomi headphones are fitted like IEMs the sound is much better, but I'm struggling a bit to get a consistent good for.

    Well my Sennheisers broke and I was going to get these but couldn't wait a month…I got some Shure SE215s they are awesome!
