  • What type of battery does it take, and how many batteries?

Is the display visible in daylight?

Oh, If I had a dollar for every question….

      • +7

You'd have $2? Hey, free guitar tuner!

    • +1

      @Russ it's CR2032 battery.

Nice, Can't go too wrong for $2. Bought 2!

    • Didn't know you could get more than one. I changed my order to two tuners too. Thanks! :)

      • Guessing that wasn't their intention, as it says "WELCOME2AUD applied for 80% off 1 item" but hey, if it works…

  • +5

I'm still waiting for mine from the last order… :(

    • Got mine a few weeks ago. A nice little unit pity you cant turn it off without removing the battery though.

      • +3

You can switch it off by holding the power button for a few seconds

        • Awesome i'll give it a try. Thanks

        • +2

@Thespottedcow: It also switches off automatically after a few minutes if no signal is detected.

        • @adr8: thanks

        • +2

          @Thespottedcow:

You can also turn it off by hitting it with a a hammer pretty hard.

        • @Stix:

It also turns itself off after throwing a fit when you attempt an Open G minor with a flat 7th tuning!

    • I got mine (shipped to Sydney) ages ago. You might want to send them a message.

    • Totally forgotten about my order. I have yet to receive them also.

      • Yeah, ditto. From the posting in early April. That's obviously LIT…

    • Still waiting on mine from when they said they'd resend it.

    • Received mine a while ago and I am in WA. I have not used mine yet.

      • I just thought you spelt Tetanus incorrectly.

        • Titan Ur anus?

  • Filled all the information in, then when I applied the code, it removed all the information. Closed the window.

Just bought 5. I'll never go out of tune again :)

  • Phone apps, PC apps, website tuners… Options are almost limitless and then there's this little device most people would rarely use.

Still a good deal for 2 Bux if you could really use one.

  • Still haven't received mine from when this deal was last posted back in April.

  • Bewdy!! I was sad last time when this deal was announced, because I missed out and so many people said "I don't play guitar, but I got one …", but this time I got two, so my (ever growing) collection of guitars will never* go out of tune again!!! :)

    Thanks OP

    *never = rough approximation …

  • I got one. It's alright but I don't consider it that accurate.

  • I picked up 2 as well, hope to give them some good use when they arive, I havnt played guitar in ages. Thanks OP! :)

  • What else does the code work for? If it's site wide…. hehe. Electronic drums it is!

    Sold out ~~

  • Tried to check out - out of stock :(

  • Sold out

  • Sold out….. POOP :(

  • Those who missed out don't cry. If you have a half decent phone it'll be just as good or better so you're not trying to be silent and aren't in an extremely noisy environment either. In a bedroom or garage for practice, phone is fine and you just saved $2.

    • Just confirming…

      Phone is fine?

      • +1

The phones I have used have been very accurate. DaTuner is a good app. There's a Fender tuner app too.

  • My two arrived today - has anyone figured out the best way to get the back off to put the battery in; mine is really tight …. is there a trick??

    Cheers

    Richard

    • Turn clockwise to open, anti-clockwise to close

      • Cheers, the second one was a lot less tight; even after I figured that out, it still took a bit of working with a screwdriver on the first one to get it open - hope I don't need to change the battery too often!!!! :)
