I've been looking at previous posts by some individuals that have posted up that, JB HI-FI is having a sale on their PlayStation Plus subscriptions.

I've walked into the Macarthur JB HI-FI and asked how much the 12 month subscription costs. He told me $70, but once he scanned it, it was $48.99 which is 30% off. Go to your local JB HI-FI store and try it out! I've saved $21.

The website still says $69.95, so this method will only work in store. Available online

It seems that JB HI-FI is price matching with the PlayStation Store price. It's better to purchase from the store, as you don't need to fill up credit card details into your account.

      I understand your frustration. I don't touch multiplayer on my PS4 anymore for this reason. Being caught out with an extra fee. I play those games on my PC even with the hackers and precision aiming mouse and keyboards.

        It isn't so much needing ps+ to play. But the frustration that I bought it thinking i could shoot around solo for abit and then sign up to ps+. I've had the ps4 for a few years and life has been busy (adult life… :( ) so i have never had the chance to try ps+. Still I hardly get to play my single player games anyhow.

        But when i went to try overwatch i needed the network up and running to even proceed past the initial cinematic.

        Guess these games can't be played like games used to - offline - with 'multiplayer' a bonus.

        I do kind of miss the old days. YOu bought a game and played it. None of this update every few days (conveniently whenver you want to play the game) and what not. Not to mention you could play offline and resell games etc. An expansaion was sold as an expansion, not as an one time DLC that disappeared once one person used it. When you look at games these days - the prices are actually higher despite the inflation factor. You may get on sale a $50 game but then you look at say destiny and if you bought each DLC/expansion and it just becomes useless - can't even buy them at eb games bar the base game. Guess no one is going to boycott ps4 or the like to change the industry so we will just have to take whatever comes. Maybt hat's why the ps+ is selling discounted?

  The offer for the Sony Days of Play 30% off promo should be valid until midnight tonight. Maybe JB got burnt so bad on this deal they pulled the plug early?
