I wish there was a way to add/buy apps through the browser … like with Google Play.
I don't carry or use my iPad very often and don't want to install iTunes on this work machine.

what's the advantage of something like this over google maps offline downloads?
I either got this last time it was free, or I paid for it, either way, it was useful and worth the price when you don't have data.
Has anyone used android version of this? Looking at reviews ios version is better?
Only allows two map downloads for free by looks of it. After that if you want more maps, you have to upgrade to PRO version.
Edit: My bad. Make sure you download the free PRO version. Thats what the Op intended. It had not expired at the time of this posting, but probably will soon.
