Magellan Cyclo 500 Bicycle Computer & Free Echo Fit Sports Watch $99 Free Delivery to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane Metro: Boxlots

Lowest price I believe on the cyclo 500. gets some good reviews.

If you want some cheap tools or outdoor gear they seem to have some pretty good deals on other stuff.

  • I own one and am very happy with it ….. great price mine was $199 discounted when I got it.

    • I own one too, and its quite good. I just find that the screen on mine sometimes jams, actually quite often, if there is any rainwater on the screen, or even sweat, and wiping it off does not seem to help. Do you have any issue like this? Love that you can control your music from the Cyclo 500, using spotify or whatever!

Screen is hopeless when wet - I have put clear contact on it and it works a treat - no issues any more with screen. Make sure you adjust setting so that rain doesnt impact.

        • Thanks so much! Great tip. You have just saved me much frustration. Thanks again.

        • Sorry to be a pain, but exactly what did you mean by adjust the setting so that rain does not impact?

  • Anybody know whether this would work in the UK?

    • Yes this works worldwide - excellent GPS for cycling. Fantastic price although not latest model

It does not come with UK maps though. I am currently in Thailand and would love to know how to load Thai maps to this device.

  • Another happy owner

  • The maps don't get updated too often and the 500 uses gps only for tracking etc. so it does not have ant+ connectivity if that matters to you.

Also a happy owner of the Cyclo 500 - it doesn't have ANT+ but it does have Bluetooth - so just make sure you have a Bluetooth cadence/speed sensor (GIANT Ridesense - latest model supports Bluetooth) and Bluetooth HRM (Polar or Tickr) and you are good to go!
Wifi support is great as well - after your ride, just sync through Wifi and you are done - uploads straight to Strava!
I bought mine for $99 from ebay (new) - was looking at the Garmin, but at $400+ for an 820, I just couldn't do it :-)

  • Thank OP got one. Been looking at a cycling GPS but couldn't justify the big price tags.

  • Still in stock. I bought one, too.

    • Boxlots shipped the parcel with Allied Express…. Was picked up from the warehouse on the 20th, was in my local city early in the morning on the 21st… was picked up by the Driver/courier on afternoon of 23rd, and it looks to still be in the van and still hasn't been delivered. Allied Express can't get in contact with the driver to ask about it… (that's what they told me).

      • After pestering the courier company a few times today, they must have told the driver to delivery it no-matter-what. The driver arrived at my door at 6:30pm. The items came with a new button cell battery and instructions to update Firmware immediately.

  • Pink/Blue/Grey still in stock
    Black sold out

    Got one - thanks

Already have a cyclo 500 on the road bike, and a Garmin 500 on the MTB. This one's going on the CX bike!
