Decent price, coming out at $54 per bottle. This is pretty close to the lowest it has ever been on OzBargain.

I am personally a fan of Grey Goose, though plenty of people will tell you their opinion of the product.

Grey Goose came about as a premium vodka marketing exercise.
Otherwise, its normal vodka sold with marketing hype.
This, and that most GG fanbois actually prefer Belvedere in blind tests, is why it cops shit from majority of folks.
Titos, Pravda, Chopin potato, Absolut Elyx and Stolichinaya(sp) Elit are better options if you actually enjoy wodka (Polish) /vodka (Russian).
If you just want to get wasted, spyritus 96% vol alcohol is your best bet.
Oh and any vodka that freezes, isn't and if it's made from grape, it's a wine!

He is correct… mostly. Vodka isnt aged in oak, or special barrels from elite sherry makers etc. Its not aged in exclusive caves that maintain the perfect temperature and humidity. Its almost moonshine. There are some awful vodkas, but premium vodka is a misnomer, theres bad vodka, and then vodka. the rest is all marketing hype, unlike say Bourbons/Whiskeys that may have better barrels, recipes or aging etc.

Save yourself the money. Stolichnaya, Russian Standard (written in Russian), or absolut or ketel one if on special. Id buy GG if it was in the same price bracket.

    • Who sells spyritus?

      • Dan Murphys used to

        • That doesn't help at all

A top bloke from my experiences :)

        • I wish they had prices, all that stuff is a long drive away.

        • @Kerrby:
          Seriously, ring him :)

  • Stolis is the way to go. GG to show off when people come round, Stolis I drink at home because it's good.

  • Not a bad price. Used to get this free all the time in the UK from work.

Pretty average. I'd prefer Stol, Russian Standard or Finlandia. At least with the last one you get a cool bottle too. Well you used to, not sure now days.

Absolut is just nightclub trendy crap.

Thanks for all the comments guys! Everyone has different tastes! If I see a deal for any of the other great vodka varieties I'll be sure to post it too.
