Wow..again!! Ozbargain is making me broke!
    Lol

    • +5

No joke I think I spent up to 2k this week…
Earphones, bed mattress and 2.0 book shelf speakers.

I can at least recoup another $20 from my credit card for this code… So thanks.

    • +3

Yup - It started off as a way to save money, but now OzBargain has become the reason for me spending money :(

  • -4

    Has this been confirmed yet?

    • +39

      Yes, that's why I posted it :)

      • I've seen that you seem to know about ebay deals before the general public. I am amazed at how you do it. 👍🏾

I think they meant on eBay.

Plus - upto 6.00% cashback at Amazon

        • wait, consumer electronics has 6% cashback @ cashrewards?

        • +5

@younghero: No its certain categories only, like jewellery and clothing. NOT electronics.

      • +1

I know that… but my purchase of this Samsung card worked out cheaper than any local seller on Ebay. And it's a quality card.

      • They were $75.00 yesterday :p

        • +1

That was 5th of June but yeah if you used 15% sitewide on Wednesday it would have been $68.

      • what's the difference between this card that the Amazon (Green) one? Says Select, but can't find any other difference in Read/Write/Class etc.

        • I think they are both the same card.. The green one is rebranded for Amazon.

        • The select one on Amazon is faster. 90 mb writes vs 40 mb on the evo plus.

Edit. Looks like the evo plus is the same speed now. The old ones use to only be 40mb

        • That one is u1

        • @tarken: for $24?

Sweet. Was JUST about to buy a $200 item from Ebay but thought I'd check OzB first for this sort of thing. Thanks TA!

    • +9

15% off on Wed would save you $30, you should plan ahead! :)

      • Too bad was gonna aim for a $250 now I won't get more than 8% so forget it

      • Sure to be more 15% off deals or maybe better.

  • +1

    What to get for $100..

    • +6

i was always in the same situation.
add items into your cart….just leave them there…or you can use the "WATCH" everytime you search stuff and want to wait for eBay promotions…..doesn't seem a long wait anyway!
stack up the cart and then big promo comes, BANG your wallet hard on the table

      • +11

What I find that's slightly better than doing this is; Add to Cart, then in the cart do Save For Later, what this does is saves the current item & price under your cart, even if the cart is empty, so if the price changes, when you click through you can see the difference ;)

        here's a real example now:
        Russel Hobbs iron I saved weeks / months ago, which was $89 then, pic is from today;
        https://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/77537/49828/saveforlat…

        Now, it's dropped to $79, pic is from today;
        https://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/77537/49829/currentpri…

        • +4

you win! I will do that too!

        • +2

can also make notes in watch list

        • +1

          @sandp:
You can do both, have the item in your watch list and "Saved for Later"

        • I've just tried this. A $400 item is dropped down by $50 currently on special, the $20 off $100 isn't interesting for that. Of I can lock on the lower price at $350, then when a site wide %code comes around, I should be able to get the lower price, plus the eBay % discount.????

        • +3

          @albanyson:
You can't lock any price in. It's just to keep an eye on pricing changes.

          Historical data.

        • @nismo:
          Too ambitious??

        • +1

          @albanyson:

I don't blame you for trying! XD

    • Bluetooth speakers? Chef Knife? Clothing? Electric Blender? Scale? Imported snacks?

  • Seagate 2TB Expansion - $99 before discount

    • +3

Posting up a deal for that when it goes live :)

  • +1

eBay is getting out of control…….i am too! I need to apply more credit cards

  • hmmmm need to buy something that's over $200. Take this deal or hope for a 15-20% towards the end of month…

    • +3

Still plenty of month left… and they seem to be doing codes every few days at the moment!

You'd be better off waiting even for just a 10% code if it's worth over $200!

    • +2

They've had 15% off both Wednesdays so far in June, I'd bet on it happening again next Wednesday

    • +27

I have the opposite problem mate, I'm running out of wives lol

      • +6

It's not the opposite problem, it's what happens straight after you run out of excuses to tell them.

      • +3

I'm running out on the wife

    • +5

Don't tell her and have them go to work/postal locker. When she asks why there is a new vacuum in the cupboard. "Oh that's been there forever dear".

      • +1 haha that's what I do too…oldest trick in the book (for husbands) lol

        • +4

I do that and I'm not even married.

    • I'm running away from wives full of excuses

    • I'm running out of wives.

        I'm wiving out of runs!

  • +2

Would be nice if every $100 there is a $20 discount

    • +16

that is call 20% off site wide

      • not if you buy for $199, not that anyone would do it though ;-p

    • +1

only if eBay sells eBay gift card at $100 value….

tightarse should talk to eBay on this…..they would make shitload of cash allowing to buy eBay gift cards at these discounted proomotions. Imagine how much UNUSED credit there will be!! Talking in millions of profit.

      • +1

Only tightarse could convince ebay to gouge themselves 😂

  • Looking into building my first gaming pc with a budget of under 1k. This discount does no my help. Will wait for a %20 off.

Same, Im about to build a new gaming PC. Almost pulled the trigger on the recent 15% off saving $400 but I held back, going to be patient and wait until that 20% off comes around.

        • +1

          Freesync with gtx?

        • +3

Build looks pretty good execpt i would say the psu is overkill and also overpriced.

Id prefer a phanteks case but thats personal preferance

An evga 750w g2 would save you some money and would be plenty, also is a very reputable psu.

Out of curiosity why not go for a h100i cooler or nxzt kraken?

Does the mobo not come with a wireless chipset?

        • +2

BTW note that the MSI B350 "PC Mate" motherboard (https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/B350-PC-MATE.html) is identical in specifications to the B350 Tomahawk and costs $40 less. The Tomahawk adds some superfluous software and has multicoloured LEDs (instead of just white) but up to you if you think its worth the extra dough for those.

        • +2

You might want to consider the RX570 to take most of your Freesync monitor.

Are all these deals to distract from the fact they are charging extra GST on sellers from July?

    • Do we even know what's happening? Last I heard blocking international purchases was still a possibility.

  • +2
