  • Is this the cheapest price atm? Are they genuine?

    • +2
    • +10

You won't get it. Shoppingsquare will raise the price later and the early buyers will get an email 'out of stock' and refund. This is their marketing way to get lots of activity on an auction, so it jumps higher in search. Then they raise the price to what they really wanted and people who don't pay attention buy it.
The original deal always doesn't exist.

      • -3

That's a serious allegation. Do you have any evidence?

        • +2

It happened with the s7/8 deals last time

        • It's what happened the last two times these hacks put up a "sale".

        • -4

@BlitzR: So it'll definitely happen again this time?

      • +3

Or they change it to be delivered from their HK office. Takes 6-8 weeks to get. Ridiculous.

        • +2

or from the Seychelles. That's what happened to my order last time.

        • Ridiculous to the max! 2 months on and I'm still waiting for my Xiaomi powerbanks to arrive.
Seemed like a good deal at the time, but never again.

  • That is quite cheap..

  • +1

    200GB? shouldnt it be 256…

    • +1

      200gb is correct

    • +3

I wonder about these too. Is it a failed 256GB memory module that they've 'cut' out 20% so that it can work as 200GB SD card or if it was designed to be 200GB?

      • +5

Dont know who downvoted you. But no. It is not because of a Binning process. The highest card was stuck on 200GB for a while from Sandisk due to physical constraints of packing transistors into a certain area for the storage. Samsung bought in a new fabrication process that allowed a bit more than Sandisks's 200GB. Now, Sandisk is catching up with their own 256GB card (was released earlier in the year).

        • +5

Thanks for returning me to neutral, I do that when I see a neg on a question too. Cheers for the info, I appreciate it.

      • +2

Some users downvote very easily, on questions that seem stupid to them, without realising it's their own lack of understanding of the subject that is causing them to think that.

    • That is after tax.

1mth wait on my shoppingsquare via ebay for my 200GB card… im guessing you guys are releated?
if you can dispatch from sydney next working day kinda puzzled why my order is 1mth in the hole and still no sd card.
I just want to play games on my switch…

    • You'll first have to find some games on the Switch. Ba dum tiiissshhh….

Besides Zelda, is there anything else worth getting? I'm holding out until we get some Mario and Kirby.

      • +1
        • Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is still pretty good if you like some whimsical racing actions.

        • ARMS was just released this week and it's also been great so far. Here's a review of it

Zelda will clock you with lots of hours in. If you're bored of exploration, Mario Kart 8 and ARMS will keep things fresh for a while. For now, though, these 3 games are the main attractions of the Switch that I can think of.

        • +1

And as soon as you finish Zelda (or as close to completion as you'll get) Splatoon 2 should be out.

        • Zelda had some framerate issues on the TV. Did you see any of that? What about Mario Kart and ARMS?

        • +1

@flaminglemon: They fixed the framerate issues in an update, I own BOTW and MK8 and haven't noticed any issues in framerate on MK8 and the issues on docked BOTW have been fixed.

Not sure about ARMS though, it never appealed to me so I didn't buy it.

ShoppingSquare is part of Zapals, I ordered from Zapals and took 5 weeks for a 32gb flash drive to be delivered. Not worth the wait for the cheaper price

    • +2

Same experience … got sick of waiting and cancelled. I ordered from Amazon instead and got it within a week.

      Hi xdivino

We provide item from different locations and suppliers. If item is shipped from Sydney warehouse. It should arrive with 2 weeks for most of area in Australia. If item shipped from oversea (e.g. hk) it will take around 1 month to arrive.

If you haven't receive your order from ShoppingSquare, Please PM me with your order, I might able to help
      cheers.

      • +10

Why would an order shipped from a Sydney warehouse take two weeks to be shipped to the destination? You could ride a bike across multiple states quicker than that.

      • +3

IMHO the answer should have been simply "APUS confirms these will be shipped from Sydney" and yet we have well, if, but……….hmmm. Also "2 weeks"???? I'm with infinite on this.

      • +2

I agree - can you confirm item will be shipped from Sydney?

  • +2

last time I bought a 64GB EVO+ from Apus Auction Express eBay, it is the Chinese version of the MicroSD card - Chinese on the whole package, not sure if it is genuine

    • I got the 32GB version. I tested the speed, it was the same as my other EVO+. Pretty good speeds.

  • +2

Are these sent out from Australia? I put in a complaint for the last ebay item (Mi Band 2) that was supposedly to be sent from Australia but got changed to Hong Kong. Ended up being 6 weeks before I received it. Ridiculous.

  • -4

stream your content instead. $89.95 saving.

    • +2

I ordered one to use in my Dreamcast.

How am I supposed to stream content to that.

    • +3

A bit hard to stream yet-to-be-taken pictures to my camera …

    • Cloud storage isnt for everything, no matter what Google tells you. Not to mention the expense of data.

  • +1

    Hey OP,
Can you advise if you ( seller) bear some part of these sales to ebay or if they are fully backed up by ebay?
Want to know why there is a Price jack frenzy few sellers go after an ebay sale which negates the sale.

  • +2

That's an insane amount of data on something so small, amazing.

  • Thanks! Excellent timing, was literally just browsing for a new microSD card for my S7 Edge.

Don't forget Cashrewards for extra 1.30% back

  • +1

Hard to consider this when it has been $75 before.

    • Good luck getting it back at this price. Considering the AUD has been slipping and slipping.

  • Have been using this for my camera. No need to carry multiple SD cards. Got it from amazon deal around AUD$50 after using USD$10

  • +1

not too bad if only using for data storage/pics.

just note that the write speed for this card is only ~15Mb/s, so 4k recording probably won't work.

  • Last time I ordered anything from apus, they were the company behind shopping square so I would expect a similar level of service. Most products are likely to be shipped from Hong Kong.

  • +1

    Sloowwwww write speed

  • wonder how suitable this would be for a Nintendo Switch… slow writes probably aren't an issue as long as read speed isn't crap

  • shoppingsquare trying to rename again to ditch badwill?

  • +1

Is this good for the go pro hero 5 black?

  • +2

So many valid queries and not a single OP reply. Says steer clear to me. At least the got it cheaper on Amazon post (thanks) seems to clear up that a 200GB card does exist.

    • OP has posted above since this was input…..vague and not specific IMHO. Still "steer clear" is my conclusion.

  • Is this good for Mavic ?

    • What is the bit rate on the Mavic? I would go for the faster card for 4K applications. In saying that I use EVO cards which are similar speeds to this one, for 4K video on action cams and phones without problems.

  • +1

Do not waste your time with shoppingsquare. I've been waiting almost 2 months for my ip camera. Still haven't got a refund.

    • Hi Captain M

Please PM me with your order details, I might able to help
      cheers

  • Hi i ordered the exact same 200GB microsd just last week using the prev ebay 15% off code. I received it in 1 working day. Ordered 8 June 2017 received 9 June 2017.I paid much more than $89.95.I paid $98.56 which was 15% off the $115.95 listing price. Can prove it with screenies. But yeh i can imagine the service quality might be lower for those who purchased it at $109.95. Just reporting my exp ymmv ☺

Edit the seller i purchased from was apusexpress2 not apusaction

  • It says "ready for dispatch by next working day", has anyone else got their shipping notification yet?

    • I got shipping confirmation yesterday around lunch time.

  • thanks for the info will file away Apus Auction Express and shopping express in my never to buy from again pile, finally got my transparent 2.5 inch drive housings I chose to pay more from an "Australian" seller because I needed them 2 months ago finally got them yesterday, if I wanted them from china I would have ordered them from bloody china myself and spent less money and got them sooner
