  • That's a good price!

  • Pretty sure it was $88 cheaper with another store during the last 20% off sale two weeks ago.

  • really good deal for the camera. while new one is coming out(so price of whole line up should change a bit)

  • They are cracking down on trs back to the country for awhile. Finally plugging the loop hole

    • Hi James, what do you mean? they're checking on the way back?

Ted's Camera is selling it for $1622.65 (with 15% discount using CALM) + $9.95 postage.

  • why cant any local stores sell A6500 or A7Rii :(

    • maybe not many in stock and also do not want to lose profit in eBay sale.

  • Unfortunately if the T&C are correct. Sony rebate eftpos card is only for selected authorised RETAIL dealers. Excludes ebay sales FYI

    • Authorized retail is fine, it does not matter if it is from ebay or in store. It basically excludes the grey market and personal sale.

      • I understand what you mean but if the T&C specifically excludes purchases from Ebay(unsure if irrespective of authorised dealer or not), I assume the eftpos card offer won't be valid? Is there any way to confirm with Sony?

"5. To be eligible to claim, individuals must purchase either outright or with retailer finance (lay-by and purchases from duty-free, eBay, parallel import stores and second hand retailers excluded)"

        • Ryda will send an invoice from their store. I have bought from Nofrills which came with a Ryda invoice and does not mentioned eBay on it. And Ryda is an authorised dealer even though its not on the selected drop down box. Just have to put other and type in Ryda details.

  • Got approved for my Sony Cashback when I bought from VideoPro with 20% off. Receipt did say EBAY but I put the store down as VideoPro.

  • Good deal. I have this camera and it is unbelievable

  • Are you sure Ryda are on the list? They definitely say they are Sony dealers and I believe them, but they are not on the list of authorised dealers on Sony's website.

They are not on the list but I have no problems putting claim in for the cash back purchasing from Ryda.
