  • i love this novelty cup. especially the 24-70 nikon lens. I would love to see my friend's face when i chuck it under the tap.

however i am a tightass and $25 is a bit too much for me to pay for that

  • Its $12.99 including shipping …Good Find. I'll buy for brother's birthday he loves this kind of stuff!

i have read somewhere that the cannon one is a better replica than the nikkon one
    considering getting this

Canon Lens 24-105 mm 1:1 Coffee Cup Mug

    not

Canon Lens 24-105 mm 11 Coffee Cup Mug

  • I've seen both, the Canon replica that I saw was much higher quality than the Nikon one. One of the Canon ones even had a functioning zoom!!! :)

    • dang i wonder if teh zoom works ir not

  • I have this one and its awesome.

No idea how much it cost as it was a present.

a 600mm f4 1:1 replica will make an excellent beer mug.

make it so that the rear cap is removable to turn it into a beer bong

My friend just confirmed that he put this mug onto his Canon 350D and took a good photo, not as good as the original lens, but not bad !! :)

  • there's a reason why this is cheap;plastic lining, it's ok for cold drinks but for hot coco/java i'd prefer paying a few bucks more and getting the SS version

    • I have set my expectations already that this will be cheap and nasty. I'm planning to use it as a pen/pencil holder. I recall the SS version being quite expensive (not just a few bucks).

  • A picture of Canon lens coffee mug attached with a real DSLR would be nice. I just bought it for myself and couple friends.

  • nice find, especially AUD is going strong makes this around $14AU at the moment :)

  • Just bought 2! About time to show my mate that I got myself new lens!

  • Just wondering: Does this infringe the Canon trademark, unless Canon itself produces this mug.

    • -> Rep: Alukado

Does this product have approval from Canon, to have Canon on the side?

      • hehehe doubtful

      • Hi Foundit ,

I am sure Canon is ok with this product , which has been in the market for a very long time , now it is sold everywhere including DX, Ebay etc. If you think the 'Canon' in the title isn't suitable , alright , I've removed it .

        Please publish it again .

        Best regards,

I thought I saw something like this on Deal Extreme recently and found them again.

This might be the same product (may be cheaper per unit if getting 3+ on bulkrate)

    Says US $15.28 to me

    • There is a coupon which you apply. Not hard to see.

      • CUP15OFF

  • I haven't purchased anything from this site before, is it OK, safe etc etc?

    • They accept PayPal so they won't get your payment details.
Just your $12.95… so that's the worst that can happen.

  • Best cup ever!!

    • Agree. Ordering myself one now. Saw them somewhere a while back for about $25.
PS: video on the website…. worst ever !!!

      • My first time purchasing from them
I like this site for two reasons:

        (1) They let you purchase without having to create and verify an annoying site-account for a one-off purchase.
        (2) They accept PayPal so my payment details remain "private" and not sitting on the server of some company I will likely never use again.

Thanks to the OP for finding this one :-D As a Canon shooter with a few of the real red-ring lenses in the kit, this mug will be an enjoyable novelty for sure. My first order of business will be to show a mate at work… "Hey look at this new lens I just bought… yeah… normally $1400, but with strong AUD I was able to import it here for $1182 inc shipping… here have a look [as I accidentally slip and drop the "lens" onto the floor…] Well, it's playing out funny in my head as I think of it now. How well it actually goes depends on my prank-execution-skills I guess :-D
