        It is the MIUI version of Android. Takes a little getting used to compared to vanilla or Samsung versions. But all of your Google Play purchases will carry over and run nicely.

    I have this and it's a great tablet.

    The back will scratch easily though.

    Got mine via AliExpress. Do not buy your screen protector through the official store to save time. They are rubbish.

          Do not buy a case from Xiaomi directly, they are rubbish.

    This isn't exactly cheap but great specs :) I had some points @ gearbest so paid $281 for it, my missus has been wanting a new phone (has a S5) but this should be better for what she uses it for.

          umm its gearbest, this may not make it on time for her bday. if you bought the s8 and offset it to your work related tax then you wouldn't have to spend on an s8 + mipad 3. unless you are just after brownie points from your gf ;)
