Nike Ordem 4 Soccer Ball $85 with Free Shipping @ Kitbag

70

Good price on the soccer ball used this season in all the top leagues (currently $140 on Nike.com). Three types available. When you try to checkout it adds shipping even though it says free shipping worldwide.

I asked them about it.

So just email them and they will refund the shipping cost. Just make sure you choose standard shipping not express.

just email them and they will refund the shipping cost.

wtf what kind of business model is that??

    • Yeah I thought it was a big strange. They're definitely a legit site though.

I don't doubt that they're legit, just seems massively disrespectful to the customer to advertise free shipping, receive complaints about customers paying for shipping, and then take no action to change their system

        • Their platform is very poor and has been for several years, and shipping takes a good month with them.

    You get four soccer balls?

    • No it's the 4th generation

      • So it should be Nike Ordem 4 Soccer Ball? Not Balls?

  • FYI, no VAT refund at Kitbag. Essentially, they charge non-EU customers an additional 20% on the net price.

    • How does that affect the price shown in the site? Price + 20%, or is it already included?

      • +1

UK customers will be charged $50 including VAT. Overseas customers will be charged $50 no VAT added. We've queried them on this previously, and they pretty much admitted that they charge overseas customers a higher price by keeping the VAT difference to themselves.

edit: sorry, realised I didn't fully answer your question. The price on the site is what you pay. But there is no discount on VAT.

  • This is a legit website.
I buy all my sons soccer boots from here.

  • Where are they made?

  • Definately a legit website. I buy plenty of Mitre balls from there. Mitre balls are much better quality ans value then Nike balls. This Mitre ball was used in this years EPL because Nike paid a truck load of cash to try and get their brand out there in the the soccer ball market where they had very little success in the past.

    • Can you link the one you get?

  • I went to Harbourtown in the weekend and bought a very similar looking Nike soccer ball for my son for $7.50 because they were having 50% off accessories. I remember because the pattern is very distinctive. Is there any reason why people would pay 10x that for this ball?

    • There are different pricing levels for this ball. This is the official match ball aka the exact one the professionals play with. You would have bought a training replica or something like that which are of lower quality

    • Training balls a very different to match balls, not just quality but the weight is different (match ball is heavier then a training ball).
