    bikersgear is much cheaper again, and has all this and more.
    1.3mm single piece leather, YKK (or whatever they are) branded zips, CE padding, etc.

    Sorry, as someone who wears a lot of leather, and rides, this isn't a bargain to me.

    Does it have an abrasion test?
    What are the Zips tested to?

    So this is just a fashion accessory?

    Does it conform to CE Standards? Standard EN 13595 for jackets either level 1 or Level 2? What about EN 1621 for armour?

        In sheep leather it is most likely fashion but in Cow leather safety is guaranteed.

      It comes with soft protectors on shoulders, elbows and on the back which meet the requirements of European CE Technical Standard EN 1621-1:1997.

    All those buckles and exposed zips are sure to get snagged on something if you come off your bike wearing this.

    Personally I wear the Aldi 'torque' branded leather jacket which is much cheaper ($149) and offers superior protection with CE rated armour on the shoulders, back and elbows. It has something like 20 seconds abrasion resistance too.

    Are these any different to the ones you can get on ebay for less than $100?. Look exactly the same, premium leather, YKK zips notched lapels, long sleeves, asymmetric zip closure, three zip pockets, belt at hem.
