  • After they just big safety glasses? (Not for fitting over regular glasses etc)

Ive been after bigger safety glasses for a while. Bunnings only seemed to have the minimal sleek ones when I've looked, and with those i find metal shavings tend to hit my cheeks and sometimes bounce upward. Ive never felt very safe

    • +1

These have rubber seals around the edges to give you more of a tighter seal so less debris get in (eg. Saw dust). I don't think the goggles will cover your cheeks though, it doesn't go that far down. Your probably better of finding something that will cover your whole face rather than just your eyes.

(Edit) oh if you meant your worried about metal shavings ricocheting off your cheeks and hitting your eyes, yea these goggles will help with that, it's designed to be molded around your face so you don't get a big gap on the bottom of the goggles.

      • Your edit is what i meant. Thanks :)

  • I recently ordered one from amazon (the clear one). It hasn't arrived yet.
It worked out to be cheaper than Bunning's original price ($38) at the time.

The main reason I bought this particular goggles is because I wanted one to fit over my glasses and I found a youtube video of some guy reviewing these goggles, showing himself wearing it over his glasses. He said it was quite comfy.

If you want to buy these for the same reason you need to keep in mind it all depends on the size of your glasses, it'll fit fine if you got slim type glasses but if you got big ones it might be abit uncomfy.

Maybe someone who's bought one and used it could let you know how it fits, since I haven't got mine yet I can't say.

    • I bought one from Amazon a couple of years ago (think it cost me ~$12). Pretty good, but if you have a big head like me, it isn't a snug fit.
I don't wear glasses, so can't comment on fitting it under the goggles.

    • FYI bunnings do have 3m ones intended to go over glasses
