Someone Nicked my Thongs! Who Sells the Most Comfy Thongs?

Whilst having a good ole fish down the beach, someone nicked my thongs from the beach entrance.

What has Australia come to? I wasn't in some dero town like Dandenong, Frankston or Broadmeadows. I was on the Sunshine Coast (North). Not even near Caboolture. Yes, Nambour is close but normally they keep to themselves.

Anyway, I had some comfy Billabong ones wide strap, arch support. Searching Billabong there are similar ones, but not as good I don't think.

So what Thongs/Jandles/Pluggers does everyone wear, and are they super comfortable.

Keep in mind I wear them everyday, as shoes aren't too common here.

Thanks in Advance

You sure they didnt just get washed away when you were not looking? Pretty low value/unlikely item to be stolen.

  • Haviana thongs! No doubt!

I can't wear those style thongs, they rub and give me blisters :(

    Holy crap.
I can't think of anything more disgusting than wearing someone's stolen thongs.
    Ugh!

I've got a pair of Billabong thongs currently for sale. Used but still in good condition.

Pick up in the Sunshine Coast (North) area. Let me know if interested.

Maybe the sand was too hot for them :)

I stopped wearing thongs a while back, I ended up with the blister across the top of the foot as well. I now where Geox sandles and they are super comfy and you can wear them into the pub/restaurant without getting dirty looks. I live in mine over the summer months.

https://www.mountfords.com.au/vega-sand-a-d52r6aekc9999-blac… (there is a male equivalent as well.) If you get them during the normal sales they are usually about $75 a pair.

    • If it was too hot, 23 degrees, then damn they have some sensitive feet!

I wish I could wear sandals! Just not me, nor will my partner let me wear some. Not until I'm at least 50 anyway, (no offence)

      Although, these do look nice:

      Thanks for the link!

I don't think you need to be over 50, or a nerd, unless you wear them with socks :) If you wear them with socks then all bets are off.

        • It's OK if they are white.

        • @4sure: The socks or the sandals?

nor will my partner let me wear some.

Wow you must have very beautiful feet.

Bra's and Things…. can't say I have tried on many thongs though.

  • My dad picked up (accidentally stole) the bra of a teenager when he was collecting all our belongings after a swim in a rock pool, thinking it belonged to someone in our family. We only noticed after we had left the pool and were having lunch a bit away. By the time we took it back, the girls (we assumed that it may have belonged to) had already left. Felt sorry for the poor girl.

Felt sorry for the poor girl.

Was it a busty cup size?

      • No, it seemed tiny, which is why the females in my family were laughing and wondering why dad thought it was theirs.

        • Oh well, she mightn't've needed it that much.

        • @Scrooge McDuck: maybe, but not the point haha

Maybe, like the OP, it was the comfiest bra she owned, and now alas, she hath no such bra.

    • Link didn't work but I searched, these look great! Thanks

  • Vans make a good plugger, good size, wide strap, affordable, and doesn't look like something your old man would wear with socks.
