    Wow that's cheap.

  • This along with several games for $34 such as prey and watchdogs 2 … good price :)

  • +2

plus cash rewards for like $3.50 back ..

  • Wow even cheaper

  • Great price but still in white. I know they have some special editions in other colours but please lets just have black as a standard option….

Still tempted but the colour just won't work in my setting.

    Grrr.

  • Nice.. just pulled the trigger.. Should be a nice Xmas pressie for the kids.
First Xbox since the original one years ago..

Any recommendations for good games for it for 8-10 year old kids?

    • +16

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, it'll toughen your kids up.

      • +2

Don't be ridiculous, Outlast and the Evil Within would be more suitable.

        • +12

He said 8-10 year old, not toddlers.

        • @Scab: Doom and For Honor seems good too, stock it up and play 8-10 years later…

First Xbox since two generations ago? Wow, look out!

      • +2

He was waiting for the Xbox One to replace his Xbox 1.

        • it's Xbox 1 S… not the donkey..

    • +3

Jokes aside, I'd say the Lego games as a whole are great for some family friendly co-op, and now with BC you can get the better older ones like Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Batman on Xbone.

    • By Xmas will probably be under $200…..

  • Only store pickup?

  • Do you need xbl to play minecraft online?

Tempted at this price to get it for halo mcc and halo 5.

    • +1

You need XBL to play anything online on Xbox, unless there's a free weekend.

      • I thought you only needed XBL to participate in multiplayer and online gaming?

  • I don't think it's been cheaper?

Crazy price and well worth it, but I feel like a 199 from MS store this November is a likely scenario, they do some crazy aggressive deals near the end of the year.

If not 199, then maybe a 249 Xbox One S with 3 games and a year of Xbox live could be on the cards.

    • +1

they do some crazy aggressive deals near the end of the year.

Once the Xbox Scorpio is released later this year it will become heaps cheaper.

      • +1

I don't think it'll be heaps cheaper - maybe just a slight drop as the Xbox One X isn't a direct replacement, i.e. One S will still be available for casual gamers.

      • Yea I was contemplating such, however with the One X set to arrive at ~600, I highly doubt the RRP of the One S is going to fall below 199. I fell like it will fluctuate between 199-249 with various bundles and such.

Maybe a year from November when the One X goes on sale for Holiday 2018, but that's way too far just to save 50 or so, might as well grab it now.

    • You don't think you will get $30 worth of entertainment out of it between now and November?

      • +1

I'm sure you will, I personally think the Xbox One S is well worth 250 just on its own, and with a game for under 250, stellar deal.

I've bought 2 Xbox Ones (a One in 2015 and a One S last year) both from the MS store and I was really happy with the bundles. The 2015 one gave me 5 games and 12 months of Xbox live for 500, and this is when the console was just a year old and was around 500 with only one game at most retailers. And last year I got the Fifa 17 One S for 340 when everyone else was selling them for 400.

For anyone who doesn't need one immediately, I'd definitely recommend holding out for an MS store deal near the end of the year.

Very Good price, wish it was the forza bundle and not minecraft though

It's a (profanity) time to be a gamer.

No one should ever have to wait 5 and a bit years before their dad does an insurance claim to get a PS3 because the thing is so expensive.

  • Brilliant price - would be little excuse to pass this up if you don't own an XB1 already (unless you're waiting for the XB1x at higher $ later in the year I suppose).

    NO STOCK

    • Yep, none anywhere in Brisbane region.

      • Yep all gone. Just like the Big W deal, not enough stock to go round.

  • This is so frustrating. Every time I try to buy it says "item is no longer available at selected location" after 4 different stores im now blocked from target ebay "seller blocks users for winning multiple of the same item"

    • Try clicking "Add to Cart" instead of "Buy It Now"…but likely no stock.

    • Should have bought yesterday for $242 posted

    • seller blocks users for winning multiple of the same item

      What?

      • Sorry I got it wrong, "Buyer blocked due to item count limit exceeded"
I added 1 to cart, tried to buy, couldn't. It was removed, so I added another, couldn't etc etc..
after 4 I got the message above and now can't buy anything from Target ebay.

  • Good deal but stock appears to be virtually depleted in western Sydney. Could not find anything available!

    • Virtually depleted or pulled by Target? I have searched the major population centres and some random regional population centres in every State and Territory (except New Zealand, haha). "No stock" is universal. Probably coincided with the listing becoming Click & Collect only. Stand to be corrected though. Anyone got one or more since this deal was posted? Maybe OzViper?

      • Still plenty of physical stock in store. Fullham in SA says no stock via eBay. But im in store now and the manager laughed and said theres "heeeaaaps"

        • +1

But not at this price. Poor form Target.

        • What a load of crap from Target

        • So how much is the same thing in store?

        • @leTintin: $269

        • Stores don't need to offer their instore inventory on eBay in full.

Some stores don't even have the tech to manage stock levels across the two either way.

No point whining if you were a little slow off the mark. Maybe you'll get a deal next time…

        • @fookos: I never said they had to

        • @Awsam: hey matey - apols - wasn't replying to you - ended up slightly under the wrong part of this series of replies. More for those who were bagging target. They've done great things for keeping prices competitive in the gaming sector.

  • I don't understand how ebay keeps offering 15% off, they are surely loosing heaps?

  • Did anyone buy one of these that they didn't really want and would like to sell it to a fellow OBer?
