Wow that is really cheap, good find. Just finished my setup with only 3 cameras and it was only ~$100 less than this.

  • I've just been researching this model this morning and found out that Harvey norman has them for $1120 for 4 cameras.

Frostee would you recommend this setup, I've read that there are many issues with batteries, wifi signal not being strong enough etcc.???

Seems good to me so far. The motion detection works well and all my cameras are easily within range to not have any problems.

  • Dammit, I've just paid $849 for 3 HD Cams. It's super easy to set-up and the smart features are really handy (e.g. Geofencing for alarm/disarm, 2-way talk, motion sensing, sound sensing, siren…etc)

Just to take note that the base station needs to be 220-240v and the American ones are set to 110v.

    T&C
*Coupon limit one use per customer. Not valid on Insteon multipacks. Additional exclusions found here. This promotional offer may be modified or terminated at any time without notice; visit website for latest product and pricing information. Discount valid from July 6, 2017 through July 20, 2017.

    • Yep - that's a totally different offer as I mentioned in a previous comment and have added the proof of price so no need to worry about whatever T&C you just pasted

Edit: Ahhh I see I negged your original post https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/316128 as I beat you by $400, that's why you negged this comment. All good. I have nice, thick skin.

It is the T&C on the unique code I received few minutes ago. Also cannot guarantee that the price of above product will stay USD 819.99 till that time as it is on sale ATM from $1272.10.

        • Let it go mate, see the proof, the code works.

@dazzywazzy: Nothing personal mate! When I posted it was a good value with ebay code for Aussie stock, and then you found the same thing for better value which is good for the ozbargain community, I'm not complaining about you negging my deal or comment (I wouldn't care less). I'm not here to compete for the deal posted as you are.
BTW my code didn't work so I went thru the T&C and mentioned as it was.
Now you posted the proof and used you code it is working fine. Not gonna use your code BTW.
          Edit: Here's a + vote your post

        • @ashikk: Thanks mate - much love to the community

  • Any potential issues with warranty or anything else?

    • Must use the adaptor as per the post, warranty you will need to send back to the USA (had this confirmed from Netgear previously)

      Cheers

      • Thanks for the quick reply. Are these units generally pretty reliable? I suppose the saving of more than $300 would more than cover the cost of a few issues haha

  • OP, did you sign up to the newsletter much earlier than us? Could it be that the newsletter code was different and had different validity dates?

I know from asking another friend that the code we both received today is not unique

  • You have to sign up for an account and tick the newsletter option. If you sign up for the newsletter first before your account, you'll get the wrong one I think

    • This, I updated the post as well to ensure you tick the option as well as then enter your email.

      Cheers

  • Not shipping to Australia. Boo

"Thank you for your recent order from Smarthome.

We regret to inform you that we are unable to process this order due to the item only being able to be shipped within the USA; and your order has been cancelled. I have copied and pasted the link below for your viewing.

    • Got the same email too.

    • Wow this seems it could be the same issue as Amazon….You can purchase 2 x cams plus base station delivered to AU on Amazon, but if you try any more they won't ship to you.

    • me too

  • OP, did you order from this mob?
