Not sure where to add it:

"Spend $399 or more on selected electrical products* in one transaction and get a Bonus 12 bottle case of Wolf Blass Bilyara wine valued at $240"

Hi,
I have been looking for a while for this Bosch handstick, I found it at Harvey Norman and I have decided that it was the right time of the year to get one.
Bosch claims it has the same performance of a 2400w vacuum. I had a look on Choice and it shows this model as the one with the best pickup on carpet and hard floor amongs all the tested ones.
I live in an apartment with mostly carpet and some hard floor I am using it as replacement of my old vacuum.
Great running time, variable up to the power setting you are using it on.I used mine on level two and lasted about 25min, have not tried level three for long enough, level one is suppose to last 60min. I have been really happy after a full day of use, pickup is amazing, I did not expect it from a rechargeable hand-stick, definitely an happy purchase.

My first deal, I appreciate any feedback and vote.

Please feel free to correct the below specs:

    Same thing?
And coupon code C5OZ seems to work for me.

    • Different model number.

      • Gotcha!

  • Amex deal spend 350 get 50 credit ends today, so if you add a $1 item then this is 300.

This was $288 the entire month up till last Sunday 2/7. It was part of their EOFY sale.

Edit: Google still has a cached copy.

  • Price is $348.

  • Just buy a Dyson

    • The V6 so good

      • Except when emptying it.

The reason why I purchased this one was the much longer running time and the better pickup rate on Choice: 16% more pick up rate on carpet and 12% more on hard floor than V8. Not sure how they tested it.

Not sure if it is the model you are interested in that is included but the Bosch cordless have a high breakdown rate from what I see, they are good but I seem to see a lot of returns at work for them of multiple model variants.

I had a look at reviews for this model and they are very good. I do not know about the other Bosch models.

60min run time kick any dysons butt. And 6 hrs to charge.
On paper, this is what cordless vacs should be.

    • up to 60 minute run time. There are three different power level which will drastically reduce the battery life.

      • +1

        60min level1 x BCH6AT25AU vs. 20min on V6
        25min level2 tested at home
        12min level3 x BCH6AT25AU vs. 6min on V6

There is another model that runs for 75min but it was too expensive for me.

        • Bosch: 56 AW suction, 12 minutes
          Dyson V6: 100AW suction, 6 Minutes

          Always a tradeoff

        • @DYEL:

Hi DYEL, as per my previous comment I am not sure how they get tested.I understand Dyson has more AW but I don't see the point looking at the below Choice test.

          Choice:

          Pickup on carpet
          Bosch BCH6AT25AU 79%
          Dyson V6 Absolute 71%

          Pickup on hard floor
          Bosch BCH6AT25AU 90%
          Dyson V6 Absolute 77%

          What do you think?

        • @Pinko:
          \
Yeah, I'd be interested in how Choice came up with those numbers. In my experience the Dyson performs much better.

Especially the hard floor result. Im not sure how the Bosch could be rated higher than the Dyson - which includes their proper hard floor attachment.

        • @DYEL:
Probably their hard floor attachment is not as good as the Bosch AllFloors Motorised head.

Welcome and thanks for posting, would normally by Dyson as well but this post has challenged my beliefs.
