    Is it cheap? A 42" LCD for under $800. Please can you guys give your opinion.

      It's not as cheap as the current deal for the controversial Soniq 42" Full HD TV from JB HiFi at $599 - see http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/31647 - but it is one of the best of the cheapies when you check out the Viewsonic's superior specs & warranty. Hence the Viewsonic 42" Full HD TV at about $700 would be a far better buy for just $100 more, than the Soniq 42" Full HD TV at $600.

      Fluidtek were recently selling these N9290P-AU's for under $700 - see http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/30752 - and may do so again in the near future.
