    Great Bundle

  • Should I get this or pony up for a ps4 pro?

I'd prefer the PS4 slim because of the lower electricity bill.

      • Is it a huge difference? MY electricity bill is very low at the moment so it isn't a huge concern for me.

I feel like that looked really bad. The capital Y in "my" was an accident. I wasn't implying something or anything like that.

I upgraded to a PS4 pro recently as I bought a 4k tv. If you have a 4k tv I'd get it as it actually makes a very noticeable improvement for some games (especially Horizon Zero Dawn). It'll only get better in the future as well. However, if you don't have a 4k tv and don't plan on getting one soon, I'd just buy a regular PS4 or the slim.

Hmmmm, I would say it is not really a big bargain. The 500GB PS4 was around 210AUD not too long ago at JB Hifi. Attach a 1TB for roughly 65AUD from Ebay and you got a 1,5TB PS4 for ~ 270 AUD.

    • 200 AUD for a new ps4? when?

      • +2

Middle of April at JBHifi. 300 AUD bundle, sell the controller on Ebay/gumtree and the remote and the PS4 is just 200AUD. With the 5% off voucher and a bit of luck for the PS4 accessories price on Ebay and you probably got the system for less then 200AUD.

        • Oh, that one, it was really a bargain.

Nice deal, personally I'm holding out for a deal on the pro

  • Need a new PS4, waiting on those sub $300 deals again.

    • you could sign up for the westpac credit card. $200 cashback off $400 spend.

      problem solved

      • Already have :)

But I'm prepared to wait too.

        • true, after scorpio releases i wouldnt be suprised if sony has something new up its sleeve. its making me think twice.

  • Pretty good deal, especially for those two fantastic games.

  • Cheers to OP for posting even though it adds another option for me to overthink, lulz…just wish this deal
    https://www.bigw.com.au/product/bundle-ps4-500gb-slim-consol…
was actually available, if you've got access to a Woolies staff card you can get 5% off..I rang a few Big W's and they all had no stock, one of the one's with decent staff said to try ringing up on certain days to see if stock was in but she also said the bundle wouldn't be available just the PS4 for $319.. would've been about $303 for me and I can just add more hard drive…
Dunno if it's worth mentioning but you can get a PS4+Uncharted 4 bundle for about $330 AUD off Amazon (but obvs not gonna have the great consumer warranty we have as standard in Aus)..

  • I just tried adding all items to cart online, got as far as payment section and amount was $527.00…might try ringing up but seems like this deal doesn't work…pretty disappointed :-/

Showing a different bundle now… However this deal is still in JB Hi-Fi's Current Catalogue

      • Cheers…I've also found this deal https://www.ebgames.com.au/ps4-801421-New-Look-PlayStation-4… but dunno how "worth it" trading away the crappier games is

        • +1

i saw this deal too. rang EB and got told that if i trade in all 5 games, i would get $51 in eb credit. hmmmm….it is the cheapest i could find at the moment. hmmmm….

        • @aaroncmw: That's interesting man..$51 in credit would effectively make the PS4 $399 or so which isn't that impressive a price…hmmmm…overall it's just annoying how there seems to be much better range of PS4 bundles available overseas
