    Sweet let the frenzy begin

  • +1

Grabbed mine thanks. Is it true that this gives +Wife Protection?

    • +4

lol i'm still hiding my QC35 from the wife for about a month now

      • +14

Just show them to her, tell her how much they cost, and then put them on and activate the NC. Once she's done, take them off and say "See honey, they work!"

        • Might not even take that long. she'll probably start beating you up for not listening.

        • Well then you can call 000 and end up with one headphone.

    • +1

Justifying the $1900 macbook pro I bought from Myer yesterday to my parter was fund.

      • +1

If you can't justify the fund it would be fun!

  • Out of stock

  • +1

    Dammit, out of stock.
Shouldve bought it when I saw it 10 minutes ago!

    • They're back in stock.

  • +2

To the guys that are going crazy for the Q deals. Do you actually travel? If so then how often? I would never wear these on the train. So why are these so in demand

    • +4

      Why not on the train?

I actuallly see lots of people using 'em in the office. It blocks all of those annoying distractions when you need to get in the zone :)

    • +2

1hr train ride each way. Using everyday since I bought them last month.

Didn't know how much noise-cancelling improves the experience. Paid a bit more than this, but not complaining.

    • +1

I had one, absolutely great for travelling, and even office environments. I don't plan on travelling much though, and so it started to not get much use. I previously used it on trains and buses into the city, but felt like they were a bit inconvenient - although provided a great experience, i usually opted for the quick earpods instead. Looking to grab QC30s soon

    • +1

I take the train each day and don't use my pair, although I see a lot of people do. I find them a little too bulky to carry around and I just prefer earphones in that situation. These are fantastic for plane travel though as they are so comfortable and the noise cancellation is fantastic. They really let you go into your own little world when flying, muting the background hum of the plane and giving you clear audio. They're not the greatest for sleeping on a plane though if you're someone who leans their head to the side - When the cups are pushed they lose their effect.

      • That's what I thought, especially if you have gelled hair

  • I got one. Thanks OP.

    • +2

      Thanks for the update!

  • -1

That price, guess they must be very gd 🤔

  • +5

Are these the new Eneloops of OZB? I see them very frequently here

    • +3

I think you'll find that the vast, vast, vast majority of people posting in these QC35 threads haven't purchased them. Unlike Eneloops which are a staple of Ozbargain.

QC35s are an aspirational purchase. Most OzBargainers would love to be able to afford these but they're too busy trying to save 0.25% on eBay purchases or getting a free upgrade to their McDonald's meal.

      • +1

        I bought mine ages ago.

  • They seem to have only store pickup available when I purchased, but now looks like it's gone.

  • I currently the sennheiser momentums over ear. Are these worth the upgrade?

    • +4

I have a pair of OG Momentums. Sound quality is definitely better on the Sennheisers, but comfort is far and away better on the QC35s meaning you can have them on for hours on end. Then you have ANC and BT on top of that.

      • +1

        +1 for the comfort.

Used it on my flight when I was going back to France, was wearing for both whole flight (~ 10 hours each) and no pain at all at the end.

  • I see these have a microphone, but where is it located if they are wireless? If the microphone is on the earpiece, wouldn't it pick up lots of surrounding noise?

    Best Regards,
    Lloyd

    • I see these have a microphone, but where is it located if they are wireless?

On the outside of the shell that holds the earcups.

    • A question for any owner. Is the microphone used for sampling the ambient noise for removal? or is used for making phone calls?

      • +2

Both. I make calls using a bluetooth connection on my phone while wearing the QC35's. It's very comfortable and nobody has ever complained about audio quality. Something to note is when making calls, the noise cancellation is turned off and instead it seems like the reverse, where you end up hearing more of the outside world around you while on the call. This takes a bit of getting used to, but overall they work fine as a bluetooth headset around the house.

    • +1

      Dearest,

      These 🎧 are 🔥 💯

      Love,

      Johnny Twoshoes

  • Has anyone compared these to backbeat pro 2's, specifically the NC ability.

I enjoy the bbp2's for clear sound, comfort and 24hr music play time, but the NC could be a bit better.

    • I've got a pair of the BBP2's as well as the Bose QC30 (in-ear model). The BBP2 noice cancelling is nowhere near Bose. IMO the BBP2 is like buying normal overears and getting the bonus of a bit of ANC, whereas the Bose units' ANC is front and centre.

That said, the BBP2's worked really great in everyday use, and considering the cost difference (~$100 - got my BBP2's for #$250) they're a great unit.

  • They took down all their Bose products, there was heaps of items earlier today.

    • seem like so…they were listed an hour ago..now they all gone..interested in getting the QC 20

  • Just lost mine this week. Was looking for a new pair. Will these be back in stock do ya think?

    • +1

There's a good chance they'll be back in stock tomorrow morning so I reckon maybe look out for that.

    • I wouldn't be holding your breath, there was over 20 Bose items this morning and they have all been taken down.

  • +2

It has been relisted at the same price here.

Btw, I am currently tossing up between these headphone and the Sennheiser PXC 550, and I'm having a hard time deciding which one to get.

  • Yep - a lot of Bose items relisted. Just grabbed a pair after missing 'em yesterday. :-)

I'd get in fast. If Myer manually removed listings yesterday, chances are they'll do it again today too.

  • Just picked one up

  • didn't miss it this time!

    • Missed it by > < this much :(

      • I missed it many times, when it was for ~$250 on ebay, when I clicked the buy it now, I got the out of stock message

  • +1

Looks like they are all gone now :(

  • COME ON :(

  • Has anyone who snagged a pair yesterday had them ship yet? Im very impatient i know.

  • Snagged a pair after waking up in bed! woooo haha

  • I managed to get JB to price match Myers price of $429.10 ($449 on their website, plus ANNIVERSARY20 code)picked up in store in time for my flight, cheapest price from a brick and mortar store?

    • +1

You could've just price matched Apollo for $419 or Pailings for $415.

  • +1

It's back again with a new link, main deal updated.

Edit: QuietControl 30's are also available for $323.28 delivered

Looks like the cheapest price for those yet

    • I think it is safe to assume that Myer will relist the Bose products at 2:30am AEST :P

  • -1

I pretty much got the QC20's just before I went on holidays on eBay special too. Can't resist the QC35s too now and pulled the trigger to be picked up at Chatswood. Honestly dont think it will get any cheaper than this.

Just wish it was $300 so I could claim tax on it. lol.

    Thanks OP..

  • +1

    Out of Stock again….

  • Yep all bose removed.

  • +3

Back again everyone, QC35 and QC30. I've updated the links in the main post.

  • Finally bought mine after 3 long days of waiting for it to come back into stock LOL

    Thanks OP

  • Thanks OP. Got a pair of QC35's. Will claim TRS too when I will travel in couple of weeks time to sweeten the deal.

  • Can we claim Myer One points with this purchase?

  • Man I just bought it and went to checkout etc, and then it says an error occured, but I got a paypal email saying its taken money from me already

  • Thanks Op. Got the QC30 for $73 with the previous Commbank $250 reward.

Also got the QC35 to compare thanks to the easy no regrets policy. I couldn't decide as both have strong pros and cons.

    • How do the two compare, specifically in noise cancelling? Already got the 35s, just interested in the 30s for lighter travels. Cheers

      • 35 fractionally better sound (more oomph rather than quality), 30 better noise cancelling. The 30 has a more natural noice cancelling effect without the "vacuum" tone of the 35. It was so much more comfortable when no music was playing. I also think it cuts out more noise than the 35, but I think that's to do more with the sound profile. In a shopping centre the 30 cuts out more low mids through to low highs, whilst the 35 is programmed to cut out more low lows to mid mids. So in an airplane I suspect the 35 would trump the 30 because of the sound profile on board. For every day use, I think the 30 wins on noise cancellation due to the natural effect in the ears and cutting down more regular noise. But if you want sound quality alone, 35 wins, but by just a fraction.

        • Interesting, as I found the same effect when comparing NC in a shopping centre. Out of curiousity, did you end up keeping both? If so, in what scenarios do you choose between either? Thanks again.

        • @bonkers22:

I still have both unopened. I just trialled at the Bose store homebush. Still deciding. I'm really leaning to the QC30 due to the natural noise cancelling effect, the vacuum effect would get annoying after a while I think. And the 30 is more discrete, can sleep having on, and I think will last longer physically. If you check out the QC35 display units in JB HiFi, the plastic and soft material is severely trashed. I assume they were there for more than 6 months, but the materials don't hold up. The QC30 has less such materials.

  • Gah sold out again

  • Wonder what the likelihood of this being restocked once more

    • Fair, but the deal ends tomorrow - so only 1 more chance early tomorrow morning.

      • I'm confused why it's always at 2.30 in the morning…

    • I'd guess a good chance.

I reckon Myer's setup is auto-posting their actual stock, but Myer's eBay team keeps pulling the listing 'cos they don't want it discounted.

Seems too regular a relisting for it to be accidentally done, every time after 2am & pulled around breakfast time.

  • Back

    • But more expensive god damn them. Now $499

      • Cause stocktake is finished I suppose…

  • -1

Price jacked up to $499. They did a TGG on us boys

  • There is a guy on gumtree selling new ones for $350. Australian stock with full warranty. Mine due to arrive tuesday.

  • +1

They have increased the price to 499$. So with the promo, now you will get it for 399$ not 359$.

  • +1

Price is back to RRP. Their "regular" 20% off sale has finished (only the "ebay" 20% off remains). It's not really TGG or Price Jacking. Just finished their promo.

  • +1

Anyone else's tracking number not working?

    • Yeah, mine doesnt work either.

    • Where about's did you find your tracking number? I can't find it in anywhere @glowstix047 @cheese510

      • it was in a myers email with the tax invoice.

        • Was the subject for that email "Order Confirmation"?

        • @sssbp: "Tax Invoice Enclosed - 1 item has been shipped"

        • @glowstix047: Thanks for checking mate! Looks like I'm still yet to receive that one (I've only received the email from ebay advising its been shipped)

        • Finally received that email! Although the tracking in there doesn't work - I received notification from Auspost of a delivery from "Victorian Fulfilment" which I assume must be Myer!

    • Myer has advised my tracking number can be used on auspost tracking system and theirs (temando) is quite useless. Hope it helps :)

  • Just arrived!

    • Nice!!!
