According to Choice tests these aren’t actually terribly good.

Shame I have about 200 left to burn through.

    • Which ones are good? All the ones I've looked into have bad reviews

      • +1

I thought I heard Aldi have good ones, there was a deal a month or 2 back (which I missed) which got some good feedback. Not sure if its a permanent thing of one of Aldi's periodic deals though. Vague sorry.

    • So what are good according to choice tests ?

    • +4

I think it all depends on a few factors, like the type of machine, age of machine, and whether you rinse and how well you rinse before you load.

There is such a huge variety of tablets out there, and they will all work differently depending on how they are used.

You can also buy powder and finish gel on Boxlots - again, dependant on the machine, the experience and result varies from one person to the next.

  • +1

Wow that's a lot of balls

    • +2

Haha… People cant seem to get enough…

  • +1

$9 shipping, prolly cheaper to get 'Finish Dishwashing Tablets All In 1 55pk' from woolies https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/search/products?searchTer…

    • +5

Well, thats 36c per tablet if you get in your car, drive there, park, walk to the store, wait in the queue and buy the box.

And then do it again in about 4-6 weeks when you need to top up.

Or else, for under 12c a tablet, you can just get these. Even with $9 shipping to where you are, its 15c a tablet.

      • +1

Oh, wait, my bad, I thought it was 155x tabs, not 55 'all in 1' tablets.

        • +1

Ah, easy mistake to make. So many varieties!

      • The shops are much closer than the Australia Post depot. AP don't even deliver to the LPO if they miss you anymore :(

  • +1

Thanks, OP got one with free shipping.

  • I find the Aldi Logix tablets (the cheaper one, 10 in 1 I think they're called) to be very good

    Much cheaper than these

    • +4

I see the 16 in 1 at Aldi for I think $7.99 (40 pack). So wouldn't this deal be cheaper given it is for 220 tablets?

      • +1

$7.99 is clearly less than $25.

        /s

      • 100pk for $14.99 atm

        • +1

Yes, same at Aldi Armidale. This is for the Platinum ('best')grade.
          They work well for me.

    • Aldi is about 20c a tablet

  • +5

I cannot give an educated opinion of this product.
I can tell you that around a fortnight ago I purchased 12 packs of 120 anti-bac wipes.
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/316285
I was impressed with the seller. Delivered as stated, great product, well packed, competitive price, fast delivery. Zero hassle. +1 for seller, I do not know them, no association.

    • +5

Thank you, I'm so pleased you had a positive experience. We have a great team, working hard to ensure the best experience for all our customers. This feedback will go a long way. Much appreciated.

  • quick question, op: do you post to po boxes? (couldn't find a mention on your site).

    • +1

Hi the check out will say no to put a PO Box, and I've just realised that our new pricing estimate will not give you free shipping if your post code is one of those PO box specific post codes (just checked with mine and it tried to charge me even though its metro).

I'd be happy for you to put your PO box as preferred delivery address as a note or email [email protected] and I will flag it with staff. But you will need a metro post code and matching suburb to get free shipping at check out..

Sorry if this sounds too complicated. We've put so much into trying to refine this process and its changed recently to reflect better postage options, but I didnt realise it wasnt picking up metro PO boxes.

  • currently using aldi, no complaints so far, but strong smell left in the dishwasher?

  • I get the best clean with Fairy Platinum tablets and Finish Rinse Aid.
Finish tablets sometimes don't get completely dissolved on the shorter cycles.

  • +1

Darn no free postage to S.A

    • +1

Sorry, just cant work it into this deal… Maybe sign up for our newsletter as we are hoping to run special shipping promotions from time to time or offer a flat rate at some point in the future.

We have lots of other great products too so maybe browse what we have and it will make the shipping a bit more worthwhile.

  • Do you have 'original', not 'lemon sparkle'?

    • Good question, but I'm not sure and cant check right now. I will try to check this tomorrow.

  • Are these local stock?
The imported ones are not good.

    • +1

These are all local, not imported.

    • +1

      Are these local stock?
The imported ones are not good.

These are the same tablets made in the same factories and there is no difference between them.

  • +1

    Are these ones individually wrapped?

    • Yes I believe so.

  • I kinda regret buying that big box of Aldi Logix Platinum now. No, I haven't used them, but you'd think I learnt my lesson with Finish Powerballs in the first place; where we bought a bulk bag of them, and they didn't work so great in our one. We still have plenty left, along side a bag of Fairy we've gone through much quicker. I suppose I came to the conclusion at the time "surely" they will be decent (as per comments and reviews), but probably cheaper and less hassle in the long run just finding a good brand buying in small volumes, then sticking to the good one that works.

Don't mind if it's say 20c a wash since we're not big dishwasher users. After all, I paid a lot more per "unit" for condoms only for them to go completely unused anyway FML (haha sorry I just came from reading the latest Hero deal comments :P)

    • Sorry I just came from reading the latest Hero deal comments

      ﴾͡๏̯͡๏﴿ O'RLY?

      • haha can't believe I fell for that
(Now now, just like tablets vs condoms you can't stretch it that far here :P)

Like seamonkey's experience above, I also have had an absolutely amazing experience with Boxlots. I purchased the 160 Quantum Max tabs + rinse aid deal a while back. Realised after ordering that I ordered the item without the included rinse aid so placed another order with the correct item, and emailed them to have the previous one cancelled. They did it promptly and didn't make it sound like it caused a hassle. Refund was in PayPal the next day.
Kudos to you OP and the company for the great customer service.
Postage was really quick and it came packaged well. They also threw in a couple of packets of facial wipes and tissues! Was pleasantly surprised.
Obviously I'm in no need of more tablets but I need some anti bacterial wipes so I'll order those ones :)
tl;dr these guys are good and they deliver on what they say!

    • +2

Awesome feedback thank you. And glad you like the tissues and wipes.

You weren't the only customer to realise there was a rinse aid bundle and we recognise the bundles were a bit confusing so happy to address these for the customers that requested it.

I hope your future experiences are just as good!

      • +2

        You're welcome!
Haha it was just me being a bit too quick and not reading the description fully and ordering fast in the fear of missing out that caused the blunder, but I really appreciated the quick fix. Glad I ordered the correct item straightaway as it was out of stock in another couple of hours.
Will placing an order for the pine o kleen wipes now :)

      • +2

yep. Also received the sample pack freebie of tissues and wipes. With these somewhat unknown reps that post on ozbargain, it can sometimes be all the little things that add up and build an overall picture that the entity is fair dinkum. I had 2 orders, it all arrived in 1 box. They took no shortcuts - I still received 2 sample packs of tissues and wipes. They didn't need to do that, I would not have known had they thrown 1 small promotional pack in. I would have been happy, wasn't expecting it, nice token. I realized Id order from them again one day - just for that recognition of me doubling the order. Thanks :-)

tl;dr it is clear to me boxlets are customer centric.

        • +2

Spot on mate, I'll be supporting them and buying whatever deal(s) they come up with. I know that at the end of the day, it's these types of businesses that deserve all the support they can get!
Btw great to see that there's other customers out there just as happy with Boxlots as I am :)

  • +2

I thought with quantum max you don't need the rinse aid or is rinse aid the thing you need to buy seperate no matter what?

    • Good question. Depends on your machine and previous experience. Reviews have some people saying they definitely don't need to add rinse aid while other people have suggested rinse aid makes it even better.

Really comes down to personal preference.

  • +1

Thanks OP just grabbed quantum max + rinse aid.

  • Saying sold out when I click the link.

    • +1

Yes looks like we have. Our warehouse will do a stock check when they open in a few hours and I'll provide an update.

  • +1

Thanks, just got the quantum with rinse aid, great deal if it is indeed local stock as the OP mentioned earlier!

  • +1

Just ordered the 'luxe version. Thanks op.

  • Wakko, will you let us know when they are back in stock?

    • Back in stock but limited quantities for today

  • +1

Great deal, i bought the one with the rinse aid.

  • +1

    @OP
    thanks for this

Upvoted and also I think its back in stock the classic one and also the max

    • +3

Yes we've tracked down a limited amount of more stock for today for the 2x110 bundles

      • ordered, thanks

  • Thanks so much, ordered!

    • I also ordered. Thank you @Wakko

  • Thanks. Ordered when you restocked!

  • It takes some time for these tablets to dissolve, so I use Finish Classic on the longer cycles - 1.5-2 hours.
I prefer Fairy on the shorter cycles ~30 min. They do the job really well.

  • Ordered 2x ! Thanks OP!

  • Nothing comes even close Fairy Platinum tablets!

  • Anyone else receive their order with stuff missing? Can't be that hard to pack 8 packets of quantum and 1 little bottle of cleaning aid? First time I've ordered with this mob, possibly the last too.

  • +1

Mine arrived all good no missing items :) exactly what I ordered, plus I got free face wipes! :P

  • +1

Got me 2 years worth of Finish dishwashing for $75. Not bad at all!

Good enough value for me to end my experimental mixing of Finish and Homebrand powders.

    • sounds like good news for you, hopefully there are other reasons for you to come back to the site over the next 2 years tho!!

      • Any reason you guys haven't jumped on board with Cashrewards?

I'll be monitoring for laundry detergent deals. Almost made a purchase but the value wasn't there.

6L of laundry liquid was $25 delivered at boxlots but with half price at woolies and 5% off with wish egift cards was $28.50 and there's no need to have to handle a 6L container. Close but no cigar.

        • +1

Thanks for the feedback - will take it on board. Ill be contacting cash rewards - we've only been live 2 months or so and need to sort out a few back end details first.

        • +1

@Wakko: The dishwashing deals have smashed the competition. 33% cheaper before delivery costs. Well done!
