We only deal in coal here, such an amazing rock, the future, go coal.

      • I'll invest with Adani though :)

      • Well rwnewable power is literally killing people

        I think Tony's re-election slogan will be

        Coal is the goal

major driver of power price increases at the moment is policy paralysis at the national parliament level

No it isn't, it's the tens of thousands of dollars (yes, the braindead Australian population is worth that little to the leaders it elects) that wealthy interests pay to keep increasing power prices. The media has failed to report this process (that I am aware of) when they create outrage over power prices other than one episode of Four Corners.

Lol with ever increasing power pricing who wants to gamble with mining at this point… Unless of course u getting free power

    • +5

With Australia's power pricing, I'd think that free power means only those with spare solar capacity that cannot be sold back to the power grid.

That or a house that had an illegal hydro setup.

        Uni dorms xd

        • Pretty sure that would be covered by your fees at some point

And then on top of that you drop $210 on a frame to hold your rig together. What a joke.

  • Hey OP,

Just wondering what else you would need? Just the GPU's and a power supply?? Can just connect to an existing PC through USB 3 and start mining? Or I'm assuming you have to plug it into existing PCI-E ports and its just an extension?

    • You would need a Mobo, cpu, ram, HDD/USB and 8x gpu cards.
      Internet connection

Yes the risers are just an extension so the cards can be separated for better cooling

      • Thanks

      • The 8x holder is where it gets me confused, I thought extreme sli/xfire was 4 tops, but I'm assuming they'll plug into separate mobos?

        • The op's website has some Asus mobo which can support 8x pcie slots I saw.

I quit mining 3-4yrs ago so unsure these days
