Disposing Polycarbonate Roofing

Hello,

Was just wondering if anyone knew about getting rid polycarbonate roofing sheets.

These were the remnants from renewing the pergola.

Appreciate any response. Thank you!

just put it out on the curb with a "for sale" sign for $100.

    some one will steal it.

    • Chain it up with a bike lock.
      Someone will steal it.

  • Trip to the dump?
Some councils allow you to book in a hard rubbish collection for free.

But most council's do not include building "rubble" in their free collections.

  • Try posting an ad to your local freecycle group.

In my area, if that didn't work, I'd go to the tip and donate the stuff to tip's "reuse" shop. That way it'd be free to dispose of for me, and they could sell it to someone who was building a kennel, or whatever.

Of course, all of this assumes it's not just crappy little offcuts and debris, but reasonable sized bits. If it's offcuts… just cut them down further and put them in the usual council bin I guess?

    • They're pretty long sheets (4m approx). But yeah, I guess the last resort is to cut em up and put them into the bins.

I was hoping that they could be recycled somehow.

      • If they're decent sized sheets someone will want them if you post to freecycle. They'll pick then up too.

Or, if the hassle factor is too high with that approach, put them on the nature strip with a "free" sign.

      • Damn, if you were in bris then I'd take them off your hands. 4m !! Put them in free cycle or join a Facebook buy, swap&sell group and list them for $20 or Gumtree. Definitely some one will come and take them off your hands

  • Bikies.
