A great micro fpv quadcopter that packs a punch. This is an ARF (Almost Ready to Fly) version so you'll have to buy a transmitter/remote separately.
Great place to start if you're thinking of getting into the race-quad hobby.

Good Cheap transmitter that does the job perfectly well:

  • I have a x7 on order - do I need anything else?

Do you only have the X7 on order?

I would order a dozen batteries, Eachine Goggle Twos, a heap of props and of course you are going to need a receiver.

  • yep googles 2 , when you say receiver what would you suggest? I ordered the q100 + x7 kit , but this looks like a beast.

wish they'd do all in one kits so you don't have to worry about buying the wrong parts separately…

    • The more you integrate, the more painful it is to repair

  • I can't see it including an receiver - I always get confused on what definition is what for ARF/BNF/PNP etc.

So you'll need a micro sized receiver like this one - https://www.banggood.com/FrSky-XM-2_4G-16CH-Telemetry-Receiv… - an XSR is too big and for larger quads.

This assumes you would be getting a FrSky based setup (better reliability), and would mean you'd be getting a QX 7 Transmitter - about $150-$200 but it will last you forever.

The alternative is a FlySky (linked by op)

  • I bought a Furibee F36 and love it. Now I really wanna get into FPV! Good tips here, thanks!
