490
TUBEUK

$1US cheaper than previously LITB deal. Code appears to work on transparent colour only. 45 Lumens, 2 brightness modes & USB rechargeable. Also see this deal for discussion.

The TUBEUK code has limited uses, so might not be around for too long. Remember to switch currency to USD in top right corner, paying in AUD is slightly higher. 1 per person.

    One only too. Thanks OP

  • Got one thanks OP

  • Is the Nitecore TIP better?

    • +1

The Nitecore Tip is better in every way besides price. Brighter, bit bigger, lasts longer and more modes/etc.

it isnt better in one way: it has a battery drain issue when put in lockout.

  • Damn, I wanted to get three: Black, Army Green, and Transparent.

At least I'm not late this once

edit: The Code you entered has expired.
    Damn it to hell !!

  • Code is still active

  • Thanks, got one to replace one that was lost (when loaned to someone)

  • just got it, code still working but the price came to $5.32 through paypal. Is paying by CC better than paypal?

    • You still pay by Paypal, but pay in USD on PayPal so you are charged US $3.99 which comes to about AU $5.17 using MasterCard rates. However your credit card may charge 3% forex fee, so don't worry about it unless you have 28 degrees or another credit card with no forex fee. To pay in USD on PayPal:

At checkout when you select your card/bank account press 'View currency conversation options' and then select 'Final amount determined by your card provider.'

      • I did select usd on gearbest, and my paypal account shows a charge of usd $3.99 and aud 5.32

        • Your PayPal is converting the US into AU, so you need to click view currency conversion options and then select 'final amount determined by your card provider' so Paypal charges in USD and doesn't convert, then it will show just USD $3.99.

        • @hamza23:

It's very relaxing listening to him. Even my 9yo daughter likes his videos. She ended up asking if she could build one of the clock projects he built, so maybe there's something in this seemingly endless YouTube watching she does. I still ended up doing most of the soldering and she just acted as the "pick and place" machine for populating the board.

      • That's awesome.

Has she seen the LED tree?

        • Not yet! I've ordered a whole bunch of kits from various places for her and her brother and I think the tree was one of them. The next build will probably be an FM radio.

        • @banana365: Way back at the dawn of time (well before YouTube) he did these flowers: http://www.bigclive.com/flwr.htm which I'll get around to making one day.

So then he had the idea "why not make a bunch of them into a tree?" which he may have regretted: http://www.bigclive.com/bonsai.htm

  • Got 1 thanks OP
