      Most likely the Shiraz, suggested "Drink until 2020", maybe it'll even last a few more years without losing too much quality.

          (most) wine get better with a few years of age (maybe up to 5 years for cheap wine, or even 50 years for higher end wine like Grange), but after a certain point the wine starts to deteriorate and slowly turns into vinegar. For wine that never deteriorates, look for high end champagne or fortified wine

      Generally the Cab Sauvs and Shirazs keep longer. So they would be the ones I'd get if planning on cellaring & aim to drink in 5-10 years.

        my thinking is that I'm going to drink it eventually so buy it now at a great price and just leave it in the cupboard.

        going to a BBQ? - grab 3 or 4 bottles and give them to the host.
        inexpensive gift for secret santa (my office has a ~$10 limit so 4 bottles)

          Wow. That's my plan exactly. I don't even drink much, but thanks to OzBargain, I've now got 36 bottles of "inexpensive" wine and 2 bottles of that Cruinnich whiskey from a few days ago, that's probably enough alcohol for a few years :P

    Having a few problems getting any combination to show the free case. I add 2 of the suggested options and the free one doesnt pop up, but if i add an expensive case, it then shows. Any tips?

    Yeah, not sure that worked. I went through the catalogue, bought the two qualifying reds, got the bonus red in my basket, checked out and paid for the correct amount, and got a weird invoice/confirmation firstly for the wrong dollar value and excluding two of the wines…

    Might need to make a call to Cellarmasters tomorrow.

      I have the same issue. Ordered from the catalogue (Tolley Cellar Reserve Shiraz 2016 + Neil Mcguigan Series Cabernet Sauvignon 2016) shopping cart showed the free case (Stonyfell Shiraz 2016). Paid the total amount and the check-out page showed all of the wine but the receipt they emailed is missing the free Stonyfell Shiraz.

        The free case isn't being added to carts now. It looks like it has sold out, and that's what caused the errors people were getting at checkout.

        I'd upload the order confirmation if I knew how - I just kept refreshing, originally was getting the error message and then the 'b2g1f back up STONYFELL is currently out of stock' message… Next time it went through!

        Edit - order confirmation screen showed the Shiraz which i've screenshot but the email is missing it… Will wait and see I guess, otherwise it'll be returned

    I managed to put an order of 2x Tolley Cellar 5 min ago and the Stoneyfell was showing in my cart but when I received my confirmation email, it's only showing the 2x Tolley Cellar.

    It was saying unexpected error for me also around 15-20 min ago so u guys should try again and see if it works. I'll ring tomorrow and ask if they'll be including the Stoneyfell or replacement with the order otherwise will just cancel for a refund.

      It does say that you will be charged delivery on the free case, but you can use click and collect if it's available near you.

    Just ordered it no problems. I think it depends where you are. It had my old address in VIC, and when I updated it to SA it went through no problems. Free delivery too
