Seems waiting for Target to put catalogue items on their eBay store, then use discount code (via cashrewards of course) nets the best price for new game releases.

Grabbed one, thanks op. My switch should arrive Monday, hopefully they prepare the order before the quoted time of next Sunday! any one able to explain the point of the Amiibo for a noob who doesn't understand?

    • +4

They are mostly to collect. In game the 2 amiibo give you an outift each. You can also save your load out etc on the amiibo and take photos with them is you feel inklined

      • +3

I see what you did there

        • Glad you caught that cause I just re-read what I wrote and it barley made sense haha. Oh and three amiibo not 2. The boy gives a Ninja outfit. The girl a school girl outfit and the squid gives a robotic looking armour outfit

I paid 64 at EB while dumping a couple games I got doubles of through PS+, which yeilded a bonus $10, otherwise I'd be bummed.

Good deal for others though, cheers dude, I'll be pointing a couple at this.

  • Thanks op.

You wouldn't think a game about shooting paint as a squid kid could be soo much fun… BUT IT IS!

  • Yet I still can't get breath of the wild on Wii u for anywhere near this price

Never played splatoon and finished botw. Will give it a go

  • I had never played Splatoon before, tryed the splatfest on Switch last week and thought it was OK. Pulled the trigger on it yesterday for $64 and have actually thoroughly enjoyed it so far. Can't wait to get back home and put more hours into it.

Thanks, just bought it! I don't even have a Nintendo switch yet! Haha

    • On paper that sounds crazy, but with Nintendo, this is likely the best price you'll do for a new copy until 5 years down the track and they're clearing stock. Good move on a good game.

  • Was going to hold out, but doubt it'll get much cheaper, so bit the bullet!
    Thanks op! :)

  • Received notification for pickup from my local Target (Carlingford NSW).

    Thanks OP.

  • Got my copy yesterday at Target for $64. The price tags on it say $69 but scans for $64!
Considering buying this and returning with the $64 receipt…

You would do all that for a saving of $6.40..?

Surly your time is worth more than that?

      • +2

You ain't ozbargainer if you don't do that

  • who would have thought nintendo would screw over playstation and xbox?!?!

Why can't Zelda be this price…

  • Damn, missed out.

      Back in stock

  • Back in stock

  • Thinking of grabbing Splatoon 2 + ARMS in the same transaction with COZZIE code. Comes to about $119.70, so divided by 2.. comes to $59.85 each. So save around $15-ish for both titles at their RRP target price. Any other place I can potentially get cheaper?

    • That's the best you will find unless you use flybuys and can redeem for dollars which is what I did in Target.

    Out of stock again

  • Been playing it non stop since launch for the Target / Big W $64, loving it more than the first game, hate getting nubs though… especially the PvE salmon run, not that hard to stay alive…

I got it last night, so much fun, hard to put down!

    • Haha I'm definitely one of the Noobs. I've learnt through crushing losses not to super jump unless you are super confident it's safe to do so
