?? I was literally browsing the store from the Intel CPU deal. If you did post something about it I'm sorry I didn't see it??

      • He posted this on my previous deal.
I didn't post as i left it for him to post though he was a bit slow.

        Fair enough, carry on then!

  • These deals are getting very hard to resist.. but my RX 580 from the other deal has yet to ship from Amazon…

Exactly why I couldn't pull the trigger on that deal…

    • Also still waiting patiently. Tempted to jump on tge RAM deal though :-/

You're (profanity) kidding me. Even RAM has RGB lighting these days?!

    • that's how you know there's a cheaper option :D

      • I know lol.
My wife's laughing at me now because I just had a rant about LED's on all the computer components.
All my GPU's have them too, and my colleges have them on their mechanical keyboards…

    • I heard it makes your computer faster! Especially if you make everything red ;)

  • Would that ram be the best match up for that cpu? I have a Asus prime mobo waiting for cpu and ram

Anyone know if they would combine postage? $30 is a lot for cpu and ram

    • If you buy together it's $15 flat postage :) As for RAM, higher clock the better but I think most settle for 2666/3000 for Ryzen due to diminishing returns.

Postage and handling - AU $15.00
      Each additional item - Free

    • plenty of other options out there too from Corsair, most cheaper than this on Amazon.

      • Yeah definitely. My mate picked up a 16gb 3200mhz Vengeance kit for only $160 like a month or two ago from Futu eBay.

      • Good point with the way the Aussie is going up, taking a look though & for Ryzen 1600 & Corsair Vengence 16gb 3200, its $470 Amazon & $469 Computer Alliance.

  • For those who purchase the Ryzen 5, just a little note. Ryzen 5 does not work with my B350 motherboard until I get my BIOS updated, and the only to do it is to install a Ryzen 7 to get BIOS update. Should double check with who you bought motherboard from to install the most updated BIOS before shipping.

    • Thanks for the heads up… is that any b350 or just a particular brands be b350?

      • I believe if you got the first batch of any B350s motherboard, you will probably have the same problem as mine. Coz the 1st gen of bios only supports Ryzen 7. And Ryzen 5 came out after that. So always double check before buying especially from online ebay store. I just returned mine and waiting for refund even though the seller offer free Bios upgrade and ship back, i just cant wait and head to Scorptec to get the new one with updated BIOS with extra service charge!?!!

        • Strange. It's literally the same silicon, with some defects. Good to know nonetheless.

How about this 16GB 3000MHz RAM for $160 instead? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/16GB-DDR4-Geil-GPR416GB3000C15ADC…

    • Good luck finding someone to send it to for warranty, I did that dance with my DDR3…
