  • Paid less than $2000 for the d750 a year back from Digidirect without any cash back deal

    • Yes same here. About a year ago, it went down to about $1670 after cashback, but this is probably the best you can find at the moment for non grey imports plus 2 years free Australian warranty.

  • 20% off at Camera House www.camerahouse.com.au

    • 20% off stacks with current catalogue as well, all existing bonuses/cashbacks still stand.

    • Just under 2k for the d500 (at Ch) is an absolute steal! Would have got if I didn't already have a d7200 that I haven't even touched for more than a year since I got Fuji.

  • good price for d810, I paid 3200 for body only

  • 16% at Georges Cameras

  • Clearing stock for the beast that is the d850.

  • +1

Soooo tempting to spend a lot of money.

Nikon D750 for $1885 @ Michaels is a very good price for local stock. Probably worth waiting for the D850 at the end of the year which will be priced around the $3K mark if you're looking to spend that much. Otherwise it's an exceptional buy.

    • $3K D850 LOL

      • Typo. Should be $4K.

I'm guessing $3700-3800 to be in line with the past D700/800/810 prices on release in Australia.

        • Except our dollar is ~20% behind where it was last release.

        • @mattman:

Aussie dollar doesn't affect the price too much as we're already getting dicked by the Nikon 'Australia is a small market' tax. D700 was $2999 in US at release. The aussie dollar was @ 70c back then. Local price was $3700. US converted price would of been ~$4284.

Aussie dollar has just breached 80c.

  • A couple of ripper deals from camera house
    24-70 be under $2200
    70-200 FL $2419
    After cash back.

  • In the camerahouse catalog do the prices already include the 20% off or is that before the discount….. Prices only say after Cashback…

    • The 20% off catalogue lists final price. The regular nikon catalogue that's been running for a week (and still runs for another couple) does not include the 20% off… but you will get the discount over and above catalogue prices.
