  • +2

Those black ones look so good. Why must they be sold out :(

    • +1

Would have jumped on Blacks :(

      • Would rather test these in person before making the leap….

      • i only jump in air jordans.

  • -1

    dont forget cashrewards…
    why people buy black shoes?

    • +3

      They look new for longer.

      • -3

but black is dark sad and boring.

        • +16

          Much like my life.

        • +2

          I'll be alrighties

        • +1

Nahh mate. Black shoes look awesome! :D

I don't like the super bright gaudy colours that running shoes come in these days, really very 'sparkles, rainbows and unicorns'.

    • Freak! Forgot about Cashrewards. :'(

  • +1

they look dope, ashame i have a big d….sorry feet 🍆

  • +1

Nike: objective analysis says these are about $90 overpriced. Thank you.
Brandists continue to love you though. Even though your labour practices are horrendous.
One day I will sell synthetic tosh with great mark-up like you.

    fly knit http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_vIjrqvsGdFM/SvbGNo2vewI/AAAAAAAAAo…

    • +4

Yeah. They charge a loooooot for design. Though I do like their designs. Anyway the last 2 flyknits I got wore through too fast at the big toe so I'm done with em. New balance all the way.

      • +3

Interesting.. A lot of reviews on the site say exactly the same. Changed my mind because of that.

  • +3

My Grandma knitted some tea cosies that look the exact same :)

    • your grandma sounds like she is good with her hands 😜

  • -1

This is the US Nike website? I don't believe they post to Aus.

    • +1

      /au means Australia.

      • My bad. It took me to the US site for some reason which is why I was confused. Seems to be generally size 8M or less, so this is a great deal if you're under 5'8.

  • lol damn 8.5 in these :(

    • I'll swap feet with you

  • +7

Is it just me or are these one of the ugliest shoes ever made by Nike.

  • Sucks. There are no US 8.5

    • -2

Why don't you get uk8.5 then?

      • +1

        They are different.

  • Oh my! I've been waiting a long time to get this!

  • How do these compare to say, Ultraboosts, in terms of comfort? The last few pairs of Nikes I have bought over the years (and a few other people have also agreed) seemed to have deteriorated in quality somewhat. Grip all but wears off in a few months, and in the thinner upper material there are usually holes / tears pretty quickly too.

    • +1

These are minimalist running shoes so they have minimal padding. Feels like you're wearing nothing at all but don't expect a huge amount of support from flyknit.

      • Ah okay fair enough. So more akin to a Nike free / roshe / juvenate-type shoe?

        • You gotta try it. I like em but they're less comfortable than the Roshe and Free however have a much more slim silhouette.

    • +3

I own both and ultras are way comfier imo. Nothing beats boost in terms of comfort. Comfiest thing from Nike I have worn was the presto. The racers don't offer any cushioning.

      • +1

I have the ultraboost as well. I tried the lunarglide(?) flyknit and chose the ultraboost over it. Was definitely more comfortable and appears to be more durable (judging by the ease with which my wife is wrecking her flyknit sneakers).

        • +1

Heaps more comfortable, durability is a mileage may vary kind of thing with the rubber on the bottom but works well enough. I have the lunar 1+s too and they are heaps worse off than the ultras. Made the right decision ;)

    • not even close to ultra boost, and flyknit is not stretch

  • +3

    There are no US9… :(

    • Same i m after us 9

  • You're absolutely kidding me. I paid $150 USD for these when I was in the States a month ago. Still aren't available in stores here and they're half price online?

  • Got a pair of the multicolour. Wish the Oreos were in stock :(

  • Awesome, but im a size 12. I want them so bad:)

    • +1

Same boat here, clicked excitedly last night to find only smaller sizes available, but just checked again and now its only size 12 in stock, just picked up a pair, get onto it! :)

      Thx OP!!

  • Awesome deal! Just got a pair of the black and whites.

  • +1

Size 8 black/white/yellow for me, and a super small white pair for wife. Thanks OP!

  • The GLA faction couldnt afford shoes.

  • Damnit too slow, size 8 would have just fit for me.

  • Great first post. Way too small for me but this is the cheapest you'll find racers in a good c/w. Note they do fit a little small (read: narrow) due to the silhouette.

  • Excellent price.. been waiting a long time for this. Thank you so much OP!

  • Jealous of you guys with small feet.

    • Theyre most likely jealous of you. You know what they say…

      • -1

It’s true. I take it back.

  • You had me excited at Nike Flyknit…

And then I read the sizes…. Size 11 here

    It's a cruel world :/

  • Very lightweight and breathable. But strangely feels very narrow through the whole sole with my regular size. I read somewhere the other day that it was originally designed for African marathon runners. Probably their feet can fit in better. ㄟ(ツ)

    • Apparently many new Nike shoes have a design makeover where they are much more narrow. It's a shame.

  • +1

Ordered confirmed last night but got an email today saying they're unavailable. Booooohhhhhh!!!!

  • Looks like they've sold out, darn it I missed it! I'm never going to sleep again!

    • +1

I stopped sleeping 6 years ago cause of OzBargain

    • You snooze you lose.

    • They are still available, just not the nicer c/w.

I picked up a couple, but not sure if they will fit… would have paid rrp for the rainbows, but when they first dropped Nike AU had no idea about them.

  • Good deal, passed on it as I already have a pair myself.
They're discontinuing this model and bringing back the Flyknit Trainers.

  • junk, boost is king

    • I think they are just different. I have a fair bit of boost, but these are just a different aesthetic.

  • I love flyknit. Hands down the most comfortable sneakers I've ever owned. It's like wearing a sock but with a cushion underneath.

  • anyone have any luck with price matching instore?

  • Thanks for sharing it. I just bought one :)

Never used Cashrewards before, so can someone please review what I did was correct?

    So I
    1. clicked the Cashback icon on this page and it popped up a window with 6.4% cashback
    2. I clicked on it, it opens a new Tab with the Nike Cashback offer on CashRewards website
    3. I clicked the Big and Yellow button with "Shop" on it
    4. It opens the Nike website,
    5. I searched for this shoes and selected my size and made my payment without opening any new tab or browser windows.

So will this guarantee the cashback?
If not, where did I get wrong and how should I do it correctly?

    Thanks

    • Correct. You should be fine as long as you didn't have any ad/tracker blockers activated.

  • +1

Size 8 and below? Awesome, I'll get some for my 4 year old.

  • Awesome post OP. I have small but wide feet (7.5/41), sadly they look like a very narrow fit. I got excited until I saw the b&w colourway was out of stock but shoes are something I really have to try on in person anyway, damn genetics.

    • +1

      fit is narrow.
      go .5 up.

  • Looks like they restock

    • Yep! Now in larger sizes too! Had to wait a bit for me to be able to get it in cart because too many others had it in cart so make sure you guys get it in there ASAP if you're interested!

  • KD 9 is about the same prize. Should i make a separate post for it?

  • I bought a size 12 just now. Seems like it's a small fit. 30 day returns is awesome peace of mind!

    Hoping the CashRewards works also.

    Thanks OP!

  • -1

It is frustrating to showing size I wear but not to add into the cart because someone added before me but not paid yet

  • So what's so good about this shoe? How do these compare to free runs?

    • +1

They are very light and comfy , and look stylish too. But not durable , especially the front of shoe somewhere near you toes are most complaints throughout the reviews. I thought about to buy when it is on full price months ago, put them on on the Nike store, it does feel very thin with its weave , so it suitable causal dress shoes. If you wanna bare feet shoes for running and exercising , I strongly recommend Nike flyknit runner , are more durable . My last pairs still going strong after 2yrs use.

  • Anyone got a pair of Nike Flyknit Racer (Oreo, size 8M US) that they're willing to sell? Please PM me, thanks! Been waiting for this for a long time and unfortunately missed out.

  • Godammit. I ordered 2 pairs of multi-colour only to receive an email later saying it's unavailable and I'll be refunded. Anyone else get this?

    • Not yet. What a bugger! What sizes did you order?

      • US 7 and 7.5. However these were originally marked as sold out, I checked the next day and there were a few available so I ordered them. Probably just an error so don't want to panic anyone. Still annoyed though!

        • All mine have shipped - including a 7.5 MC and Oreo - except they might be too small…

        • @billbro: That's good news. Well 7.5 is pretty much my size, if you'd like to onsell them to me let me know, those are the colours I was looking for too.

        • @scepticpsych:

Just ordered another 3 when they magically came back into stock 7.5 multi 7.5 Oreo and 7 triple back. Got the same cancelled order message again not long after. Damn! Haha

  • Hey guys I went into the Nike store today (Sydney) and they had some multi, triple black and volt in stock. Few sizes and RRP but if anyone is desperate may be worth checking out.

  • how bad luck is this ? my shoes got lost in delivery LOL

    • It’s because they came from overseas. Mine started in Amsterdam! Finally arrived and were crappy quality. Returned straight away unfortunately.
