Purchased a Vodafone prepaid $40 SIM for $15 at Coles. Not sure if it's sitewide but they had a 1/2 price tag on it. Vodafone site shows it being sold for $20.
But scanned in below half price at $15 in Coles.
It gives you 9Gb to be used for 35 days.
I went and bought another at lunch time.

I think he was just being a smartass (subtly) pointing out that "Vodaphone" does not exist (i.e. Vodafone with "f", not "ph"). But you've fixed it now anyway.

I did it in Victoria last week - for some reason found the same - the $40 dollar sims scanning for $15. Was thinking of trying to get it for free as the price scanned wrong, but when I read the wrong scan doco it is only if the price is higher :p

Yes it is. I was at Coles Bondi Junction and was able to buy 2.
They've been running this deal for a while…at least they have at my local coles.
