  • hard part is getting MSY answering the phone to tell you if they have stock at a particular store……. phone on-hold specialists.

    • The specific MSY branch website would tell you if it's in stock or not.
In my experience it has been accurate.

OP link is QLD Varsity Lakes

Change it to VIC, say Cheltenham, if it's in stock you'd be able to keep adding to cart.

I've been buying monitors almost weekly and if there's only 1 left, I can only add 1 to cart.
I always order for pickup to make sure no one buys them while I'm otw there.

No need to click on an add to cart button to do that. You can check yourself which stores have stock with no phone call required or an add to cart button. You know just click on the Stock Availability tab which does the trick, and will show which stores have stock and which don't. Currently showing for the Seagate Ironwolf 3.5" 3TB that all stores nation wide have stock. Otherwise you're just stuffing around with an add to cart button otherwise when it's that easy checking through the Stock Availability tab takes like 1 second to do.

  • $122 @CPL still $3 Is $3

  • How does this compare to WD purple? Specifically for an NVR

    • I read somewhere that WD Purple is optimised for continuous WRITES and not READS, i.e. streaming may not be optimal. Get WD Red.
Unless you are not going to stream.
Unless your walled dictates your decision…

    • WD purple is for surveillance system, should not be used for other purpose as lower data integrity. And this Ironwolf can use for anything. I uses only seagate NAS/Ironwolf all the times, WD black and red is not bad but I have better experience on Seagate NAS.

  • Don't 3TB drives fail way more than 4TB, or has this issue been resolved?

  • Which one is better? The Ironwolf or the WD Red series? Was looking to get a 3TB/4TB Drive
