Absolutely but you have to trigger your phone by touching it or at least have it charging or on you. I often leave my phone charging on a wireless pad in my bedroom after work. And there are certain commands that are reserved to Google Home only (at least for now), eg. Hey google, play Madonna on My Chromecast. And whilst I have my hands all covered in food I can just say: Hey google, play my favourite playlist at max volume! The mics are much more sensitive than the ones on the phone so no need to shout and you can be anywhere in the proximity of the device. You would have to play with the device to understand what I am trying to say. Again, it's not something that you must have but it's something that makes daily tasks a little more fun and more convenient :-)

Not sure why they are doing that as the onedigital product is an international version and not Australian stock. People getting that matched are lucky.
It's a .com.au store and has a dress in Melbourne Sydney Brisbane warranty is Australian in there description but the office works never spotted the bit that says international product with an Australian adaptor so I was very lucky at jb and two office works

yes I did they have au warranty in there warranty section I could not find it but the guy at office works found it
But what was funny the goodguys price matched them but ondigitals is not on the goodguys list of stores they price match I got lucky
@chauhanmahesh: Yep, thanks to Dex, I price matched Onedigitals.com.au and got it for $136. The (1st and 3rd) guys went through the whole website, questioned me every bit of it and luckily they have a Sydney phone number, and that saved the day.

I got some from jb $142 they match one digitalis price
They have added the bluetooth function to stream with any device with the last update! Tested it, works most of the time with a little lag at times!
You can command any of these devices with your phone too. Chances are your phone will be closer to you most of the time as well.
