  • Code doesn't seem to work.. my bad have to log in first

  • How long would the batteries last with normal use?

    • It says half a year if you run on the Highest brightness settings and a whole year if its on the lowest brightness settings

I'm a big fan of Xiaomi, but this seems expensive for a battery operated night light.

    • yeah the only use I could think is for the stairs, where there's no power point. But it's just as easy to ask Google to turn on my Yeelight :-)

    • I've been watching this 3 pack of "stick on" Eufy lights (Eufy is a new brand off shoot of Anker) for US$14.99 + shipping

      https://www.amazon.com/Bedroom-Bathroom-Kitchen-Hallway-Effi…

Sadly they don't ship to Oz, yet, hoping that changes soon

    • Safe, low voltage, night light for a kids room…

Rep you seriously need to look into your shipping times. Takes months to receive an item. It’s painfully slow. Still waiting for my order.

    • Hi,

Thanks for your valuable feedback. Could you pls pm your order number? I'll look into it for you.

Normally, shipping time depends on the shipping method.

      Regular non tracking (7-45 days)

      Registered with tracking (7-30 days)

      DHL (3-5 business days)

Bought from Zapal before and the experience was the same as Jimmy , I seems to get better shipping times shopping with GearBest comparing apples to apples ( unregistered mail) .

      • For this product
        Regular is free
        Registered is $4.20
        DHL $22

And those days aren't from when you pay, is from when it's shipped, which can be between 1-21 days.

        • Ive always wondered if anyone has ever received the items in 7 days with free shipping.

        • +5

@tomochin1991: I don't believe they've ever shipping my order within 7 days, let alone received it. I assume it'll take around 6 weeks to get here after I order. Banggood are better and their priority shipping is usually only ~ $4. Last time I used them my order arrived in 10 days.

Zapals are good if you're just looking to save money & not in a hurry. I bought a heap of Xiaomi gateway + sensors earlier this year, I saved about $50 using Zapals over BG & GB, so was happy to wait.

      • It took you 3 weeks to actually ship one of my orders and even then it was only AFTER I had contacted customer support complaining about not receiving a shipping confirmation. When the order arrived multiple items were missing, forcing me to make an additional order from elsewhere and pay for shipping again.

This is not the only issue I have had with Zapals. I would warn others to stay away.

Slightly OT, but someone might find this useful…the Mijia smart lamp is on sale at Gearbest for under $50 (Aus) delivered until 2am tomorrow, I signed up to post but I have to wait 24hrs ¯_(ツ)_/¯

  • Does this have motion sensor? Didn't see it mentioned, but maybe just got lost in translation.

    • Yes IR sensor

      • Thanks. Found this description from Banggood, which is more complete:

        Features:
The light will turn off automatically at the daytime.
In darkness, the light will turn on when human body is inducted, and it will turn off automatically when you leave after 15 seconds.
Battery operated, easy and convenient to use and install.
Suitable for bedroom, cabinet, drawer, bar, dining table, living room lamp, etc.

  • discount doesn't apply if you buy 2 lights???/

  • IKEA sells similar lights - can't remember how much for.

    • I have the Ikea lights - they are ok but don't have adjustable intensity and are way too bright IMO. They're also not photosensitive so turn on day and night…

  • Is it very dim? 3.8 lumens.

  • Does this support the Xiaomi gateway with Zigbee? Can i also control it via Xiaomi app?

    • interested to know as well, but doesn't seem like it can be controlled through App, can't find it from the list of devices.

  • Coupon from iGeeKphone doesn't work anymore. Don't forget 8% cashback from Cashrewards.
