  • Never knew MSY sold phones.

    Runs Toast dragon 810…

At this price I'd definitely go for a LG G6 or V20 instead.

But good price for this phone with local warranty if you're set on it.

    • Definitely for this money this is a better option.

      • This??

Edit: From below comment I worked out you meant that the LG G6 or V20 is better option.

Just upgraded from Z5P to a G6 for only about $50 more than this price.

G6 is such a better phone I can't even begin to compare the two. Personally I think you'd be crazy to buy this rather than the G6

      • bootloop?

Its not known wether the v20 or the g6 will suffer the fate that befallen the g3, g4, g5 and lg nexus phones. What is certain and confirmed are the heat issues many phones that have snapdragon 810 cpu.

@xoom: Degree for degree I'd still say my LG G4 put oyut more heat than this one.

That aside, I've had nothing but issues with my Sony, latest is the glass (screen) starting to lift away on one side, and not responding to touch on that side. Other than that, faulty motherboard, warped metal case, intermittent charging, dropping from 20% battery to 0% in minutes.

        • @Tiggrrrrr:

My z2 was awesome.. the battery life was amazing.

My s7 is starting to get pretty laggy and the battery life is shocking.

          @Circly:

I loved my Z2 as well, it's why I bought the Z5P. But that thing was a heap of rubbish. Slow, hot, dreadful battery life. I did so many factory resets, flashes etc, nothing fixed it.

@Circly: Talking about the 5 not the 2.

Terrible phone. Lovely big screen, and so pretty. But glad to be rid of it now.

I don't know anyone with this phone that's not had problems with it. You'd have to be a Sony fanboy to get it.

Had a Z5 compact for 18 months, frustrating. Battery life was horrid, especially using bluetooth. Charging time was slow, wasn't water resistant (phone jack), started getting slow.

Just got an iphone 6 to replace, kills it in every regard. Had 2 android phones now, didn't like either.

    • Hold if for 15 mths. Still awesome with the use of brevent.

Bought a Z5 and after this will never touch another Sony phone ever again. Overheated, slows down after some use and screen cracked when I slipped out from my pocket while sitting on a chair (ie. knee height) Iwas quoted $400 just to replace the screen but I ended it by just disposing it.

And that touch sensor.. works at first then it becomes the biggest hassle.

    • Just saying:
Have a friend who couple of yrs ago bought a new Iphone and within the first week the screen cracked when it slipped out from their pocket while also sitting on a chair. They love their Iphone, had it repaired and still using today.

  • Did anyone pull the trigger on this? Would love feedback on camera, overheating issues and latest Android version available……
