Cleaners on android are as pointless as android antivirus programs.
That's why you run them once and then delete them.
Is there real value in doing this? Or is it likely to delete things it shouldn't be deleting?
There's no value in even wasting your time downloading the app. Avoid this shit like the plague.

Don't bother, OS already does the work.
This will come in handy to delete all the free apps that i always download through ozbargain and never use, but the truth is…i will dowload it and never use it lol.

CCleaner for pc and Android work quite well..
Only cleaner I've found that are legit are CCleaner and SD Maid but CCleaner wants to schedule stuff which is silly
I've got several of these on my phone and they just don't work, if I didn't know any better I'd think they made my phone more slowerer!
They do because instead of the app sitting in RAM it has to be reloaded. It also pointlessly uses power as well as slowing down apps.
Pointless, RAM and battery chewing junk.
More junk than the junk they supposedly clean.
I don't know why so many people are saying that all these kinds of apps are useless. If you want to manually find any orphaned folders and files from your uninstalled apps, or go around and look for apps with unfeasibly large caches because they're full of old images etc that were never purged then be my guest. I just run SD Maid every couple of months or so and get a couple of GB of usable storage back. Takes all of about 10s instead of God knows how long it'd take manually.
No idea if this app is any good but to have a blinkered view that they're all bad and do more harm than good is IMO as odd a statement as they're all wonderful.
Is like cleaning your house. You don't to be wasting time and energy constantly cleaning. To be sensible, I would want to do it occasionally. So something automated to help would be good.

SD maid is actually decent for freeing up space on your phone but all these other ones seem like a waste of time.

What's with all the useless apps getting posted here recently.
This one gets a down vote because it does more harm than good.Or you can just download Clean Master which is always free but I'm pretty sure that huawei and Samsung phones come preloaded with cleaning software
