For few more cents than the other deal you get an option to pay with PayPal for more peace of mind.

Some people do prefer PayPal as a payment option including me

      • -3

Dunno how you get peace of mind with PayPal. They can take your money and freeze your account for no reason and with no recompense.

        • That's why you get peace of mind with PayPal …. as a buyer, not as a seller. ;)

        • -1

@eug: Many, many reports of them doing it both ways. They don't care and they don't have to follow anywhere near the amount of regulations as a bank would since they're technically not.

        • @potplanty: How bad is dealing with PayPal compared to dealing with Aliexpress/AliPay?

      • I agree. I will buy from a shop supporting Paypal, even that itself is from China like Aliexpress.

    • OP, I wonder how many deals have you posted since 2014 to help the community !!

      NONE

But you still love to neg other's posts, when they simply sharing the love with the everyone

      • Wow. You clicked my id.
Firstly OP refers to the original poster. In other words you for posing the deal. You seem able to click my user name yet not able to copy and paste.

I gave it a neg as a cheaper deal was posted jut a little while before yours. I didn't realise banggood was up on the list of companies and people you don't talk against on this site. Thy should make a forum listing about them. Seriously, half the people on here are more committed to specific companies than actual bargains.

And as for posting deals, most of the deals I find or get do not meet the posting criteria here. The others eventually find their way on here within the day. I contribute in comments.

        • That OP word was a typo… so, don't stress about it.

        • @OzSikhs: what was it meant to say?

        • @d1s34s3d: didn't I say stop stressing !!

Probably put your energy towards finding a deal, which you can post here, specially which meets the criteria here 😂

        • I gave it a neg as….

Your neg was revoked by the community !!

        • @OzSikhs: with all the exclamations and bold text I'm getting super stressed now. You said it's a typo and now don't know what you meant to say. I won't be able to sleep from all this stress.

        • @OzSikhs: Yeah. Banggood is one of the sacred companies. Can't say a bad word or you get downvoted. Found a few stores like that now.

        • @d1s34s3d:

@OzSikhs: Yeah. Banggood is one of the sacred companies. Can't say a bad word or you get downvoted. Found a few stores like that now

We learn something new everyday, isn't !!

        • -1

@OzSikhs:nah. Not everyday. It's rather sickening to know that's how this community is turning. Ozfavouritism over ozbargain.

        • @d1s34s3d:

I won't be able to sleep from all this stress.

If this is the case, you might want to find a bargain to share with all of us, while we all are sleeping

        • @OzSikhs: nah. I'll be right.

      • Additionally where exactly does it say I love to neg other deals? There was a cheaper alternative. Completely within the rules for casting a neg vote. My comment attached was straight forward. No joyous comment about beating your deal.

        • Mate, when you'll post your first deal here, make sure you research throughly to find the cheapest price, otherwise you'll get a neg from people like you

        • @OzSikhs: I am not your mate, buddy.
I'd happily get a neg if someone could beat my price on deal that I felt like posting here. I definitely wouldn't have a big hissy fit over it and be overly defensive.

        • @d1s34s3d:

I'd happily get a neg if someone could beat my price on deal that I felt like posting here. I definitely wouldn't have a big hissy fit over it and be overly defensive.

I think it's a time to actually try it. So, may I ask, when can we expect your first post ever

        • @d1s34s3d: you might want to teach me, what's the difference between mate and buddy ??

        • @OzSikhs: hmm. In 10 minutes. That work for you?

        • @OzSikhs: mates your mate. Buddy's the guy who's trying to be your mate but you know he's just being facetious about it.

        • @d1s34s3d: well google tells me there is no difference

        • @OzSikhs: google lied.

        • @OzSikhs: And if you do want to know the real none sarcastic answer to your question. It's a loose reference to an episode of southpark.

        • @d1s34s3d:

Well, Google doesn't lie to me coz Google is my mate

        • @OzSikhs: And while I'm being all honest and stuff, I'm not posting any deal tonight. Definitely not in the next 10 minutes.

        • @OzSikhs: google might be your mate but it'll never be your buddy.

        • -1

@d1s34s3d: hey did you notice this post has got 44 +ve votes by the community members

        • @d1s34s3d: Have a great night buddy, talk to you later

        • @OzSikhs: Yeah I did. Very prideful of you to point that out. Good work. pats on the back

        • Alright. Guys, take your pointless conversation to PM.

        • @OzSikhs: did you notice that you got a neg for that comment? And it wasn't even from me!!!!!

        • @neil: do we have to?? It's not fun when it's private.

        • Yes. This wasn't a request.

    • For the sake of a few cents, both of these deals are 'bargains'. Two bargains give people the choice of which seller they go for, whereas your mentality would suggest that the Aliexpress deal is the only deal any rational seller would consider.

      • Rational seller? I think you mean buyer. But, no. I was just highlighting there is a cheaper one already posted on ozbargain. I didn't buy either as I have no interest in the item.

  • +2

This deal is better because you don't need to give out your credit card detail and better claim service

    • +1

Better claim service? What is the evidence for this? I have made claims from both PayPal and aliexpress before and neither were particularly better than the other. Both were relatively pain free.

I also have to give Amazon my credit card details. Does that mean they are somehow a worse place to buy from?

      • +2

But some people do prefer PayPal over other modes of payment

      • +4

Last year I ordered a bunch of LED strips from aliexpress. The seller sent the wrong ones. I contacted the seller several times but was ignored. I then contacted aliexpress who kept saying they'll contact the seller, but after several weeks of them saying the same thing, nothing happened.

In the end I had to lodge a chargeback with my card company. Took ages to get my money back.

On the other hand, ebay sellers seem to be more afraid of ebay/PayPal. I've always had items replaced if they sent the wrong ones.

        • I've always had good experience with ALiexpress disputes. only twice has aliexpress gotten involved & both times I was fully refunded. But the other times the sellers have offered full refunds or replacements (and once a partial refund at my request & then offered a discount off my next order).

        • +1

I've had a good experience with AliExpress negotiating with a bad seller for me and got my money back.
However, in the early days of AliExpress, someone there probably copied my credit card info.

I've had both good and bad experiences with PayPal - they tend to look after the big sellers as they make more money from them.

    • -8

Banggood takes 8 months to deliver something to you

      • Couple of my orders from Aliexpress never turned up !

      • +2

Most of the time, I received my stuff in less than 3 weeks from Banggood

        • Banggood to rural NSW is 4 - 5 weeks. Most items from Ali are 2 - 3. Only had one seller on there take 4 weeks.

        • @d1s34s3d: on the other deal link, even seller mentioned the delivery time 49 days

      • what do you mean my orders take about 3 weeks

        • Corrected

      • +1

Banggood are among the fastest postage in my experience

    • I had to give PayPal my credit card details.

  • Works with Lenovo ZUK2?

    • +1

Pretty sure the ZUK Z2 or the pro version does not have Qi (Wireless) charging support.

  • +3

Also has cheaper express shipping options than aliexpress
So unless you choose free shipping, this works out to be cheaper

    • +2

thats what I like about Banggoog & sometimes Gearbest, for a few dollars more you get epress shipping anfd it'll arrive in 10 days or so. Economy shipping is all over the place.

  • anyone have experience using the receiver pads with phones that don't support wireless charge? Thinking of getting one with usb-c:

    either:

    or
    https://www.banggood.com/USB-Type-C-Qi-Wireless-Charger-Char…

Now if only apple would implement wireless charging in their phone like Samsung….
    "Tell him he's dreamin!"

    • +8

Now if only apple would implement wireless charging in their phone

When they finally implement it. They will make it sound like they invented the wireless charging technology. Tout it to be ground breaking and innovative. A first. Except for a truckload of other phones thats had it for a while now.

      • Lol, so true!!!!

  • Isn't this a category 2 product, so only 4.5%

    • +2

It doesn't. Often local phones are more expensive than grey stock. Some of the most popular bargains on phones for example aren't the cheapest because they are from the Aussie sellers. People just want the better warranty service.

In this case Banggood is a more reputable seller than an AliExpress one.

      • Banggood is more reputable? I've been waiting for 5 weeks for my 2 blitzwolf usbc cables.

    • +2

Cmon mate. For the sake of a few cents, both of these deals are 'bargains'. Two bargains give people the choice of which seller they go for, whereas your mentality would suggest that the Aliexpress deal is the only deal any rational seller would consider.

    • I posted that earlier. Just found out you're not allowed to say anything against banggood. One of the sacred names here on ozbargain apparently. Mobileciti is another one. They'll neg your comment away in no time regardless of the validity.

      • -1

Stop crying and twisting the truth.
You were negged for negging the deal, not for saying it's cheaper elsewhere.
That being said, you also negged over a few cents.
Also you linked a deal that didn't accept PayPal.
So before you keep going around crying that ozbargain are a bunch of banggood worshippers why don't you wake up to the facts.

        • Yeah whatever. I negged because the deal was posted right after the other one. Not because it was a few cents more expensive. And then the commotion started. All anti aliexpress and pro banggood. Anti alipay pro PayPal. It's all the same if you look at it properly. Product comes from China. Both pay systems have your credit card details. Same resolution service. Similar postage times depending on where you are. Jut because the aliexpress seller wishes to say 49 days max postage time to save getting negative feedback from slow postal service is there choice.
No crying. No truth twisting. Was gonna let it be after been negged but there was so much fuss over it all and I was bored so decided to be a troll to entertain myself. The wonderful mod Neil stepped in and put an end to it though and pruned away all of that silliness. I have zero interest in this product.
Just curious why you decided to come back 17 hours after the deal expired to have a shot at me?

        • @d1s34s3d:
Yeah I dunno man. I buy whatever is cheaper and inthis situation would prob go banggood because I have bought from them before.
Unless we are talking $$ difference with the price.

          I didn't neg you btw.

I was just going through reading the comments and saw yours, so I went to check your comment at the start of the deal and didn't feel that your store bashing was legit.

Don't get me wrong, I'm up for store bashing if they deserve.

        • @Hirolol: ahh all good. After last night's troll fest with ozsikh I was a little suspicious is all. Was all up for another round if it was called for. Slow night and all. ;)
Not bashing the store at all. I've bought form banggood and had good experiences. I've bought from aliexpress and had good experiences. All the same to me.
The favouritism thing is becoming more apparent the more I'm looking at things is all. Maybe a coincidence but the frequency doesn't show that.

  • +1

Price was already in AUD for me. $20.90.

Bought one, thanks. I didn't even know the S7 had wireless charging until now. I very nearly bought one without even checking if it would work with my phone.

  • -1
    • No Paypal option and AliExpress takes longer to deliver according to the description, which says 49 days delivery time

    • I wonder you didn't neg this time !! 🤔

      • Can't neg after a retraction. I'll make sure I find a reason to on your next post. ;)
Just figured keep posting the link instead of getting buried away. Give people a choice instead of pushing the sacred banggood site all the time.
PayPal and alipay are the same to me. Both have my credit card details. Both have hood buyer protection.

        • PayPal and alipay are the same to me.

          Probably NOT FOR EVERYONE

        • @OzSikhs: maybe not for everyone, BUT FOR SOME!!!!!

        • @d1s34s3d:

          BUT FOR SOME!!!!!

That's correct, similar to how Paypal is preferable option for some over alipay

        • @OzSikhs: Yes. FOR SOME PayPal is preferred. But FOR SOME OTHERS alipay is preferred. And then there's THE REST who don't care either way.

        • @d1s34s3d:

Yes. FOR SOME PayPal is preferred. But FOR SOME OTHERS alipay is preferred. And then there's THE REST who don't care either way.

I don't know why you're going in circles

        • @OzSikhs: because I'm bored and this is filling in time for me.

  • ordered, thanks
