Why are they bringing back dinner? Did it ever leave? Did someone take it? Should we be angry at someone?

    • +2

a little life hack i like to use is to never really stop being angry. things are less confusing and scary this way.

Anything that makes life less confusing and scary is a good thing. KFC are a seriously strange brand. They do the most inane marketing campaigns on social and get like 100k+ comments. If I were a marketing student I would be studying their bizarre voodoo ways.

So pretty much the same as the 9 pieces ( original or hot spicy) $9.95 and two large sides for $5 at Qld here. ( well it was weeks back when I got it last)
    Not bad value.

    • 2 large sides cost $6 in KFC app, is $5 for 2 large sides special only in Qld? and 9pcs is only for Tuesday, but you can Bring Back Dinner everyday.

      • It used to be $5 , maybe now it's $6.
Always thought a large coleslaw and either a large chips or potato and gravy was good for $5 .

Good find. Also got it from a Woolworths docket yesterday and glad it's available in all VIC KFC stores. In the past, I used to go on to the shop a socket website to save coupons to Apple Wallet/Passbook, but I don't seem to be able to do that now. Nonetheless, here's the link https://www.shopadocket.com.au/brands/kfc

    • I just downloaded the app, it's on there…then just unlock it

  • didn't realise the previous Bring Dinner Back offer expired, but here's an image of the current shop-a-docket.

  • Do stores accept scanned dockets??

    • Not sure, need some 1 to confirmed.

      • I usually just say I have the "Bring Dinner Back" coupon and have always got it.
Similar to HJ, but your milage may vary

    • Get the app

    • Can confirm that did it today in KFC Bayswater, VIC store

  • Cheap as chips is better value (available in the app).

    • little bit and debatable, Cheap as chips is 1 less original pc, KFC use to have 24 nuggets for $10 which is roughly 42 cent each and 6 nuggets is $2.5, and 1 original pc is $3. 2 extra large sides is $6, so roughly equal value.

  • Used it tonight, able to swap the dregs i mean, potato and gravy, for coleslaw too.

    • you went to kfc and get salad?!!!

      • and chips and 9 pieces for 15… I just hate it when you ask to swap to coleslaw, and then check the bag, and they didn't change it.. so you get stuck with a tub of dregs and mystery white moosh.

        • so you prefer a tub of sugar.

        • @worldpc: Hi there—what's shopadocket?

      • the bean salad they used to have was great

Note: Also available in NSW without any docket, just tell them you want a "$15 dinner pack".
    Only available in food-court stores.

    • townhall KFC?

      • Food-court stores. Unsure about the other stores.

  • The distinction between states is strange….. you'd think they'd have these specials Australia wide for maximum exposure.
