Was waiting for a XERO deal since EOFY. Ended up going with Quickbooks, way cheaper with at $17.50 per month for the Plus plan with the 50% off for 12 months deal they just ran , currently they are doing 30% off for 12 months and still was cheaper at $24.50 per month. https://www.intuit.com.au/pricing/
Also of note it is pay month by month you don't have to pay for the 12 months up front.

    • Thanks Karza, I started using Xero in July and was away when the last 50% off code expired. My trial just finished. I e-mailed them and they shared this code with me. This is my first post! I've got plenty of deals here on OzBargain so just figured I'd share since the last Xero post was expired. But, I'm definitely going to look into that Quickbooks deal. Aside from price, which do you think works better?

      • So can existing xero customers/subscribers apply this code?
If so where do you apply it?

        • Tbh, I'm not 100% sure. I was using a trial, which expired. So it brought me to the page with the 3 plans, and towards the bottom left there was the box for the promo code. Not sure if you have an active subscription if you select upgrade if it will give you the promo code box.

        • Nope.

    • That's like choosing MS Paint over Photoshop because it's cheaper.

      • I'm still testing the two, please enlighten me what advantages Xero has over Intuit Quickbooks, so far I can't see anything that justifies spending $630 for the year on Xero standard + Multicurrency (If you use the above deal) as opposed the $210 Quickbooks plus will cost me for the year.
