Herald Sun Subscription (Digital and Home Delivery) for $1 Per Day (Melbourne) [Minimum Charge $31]

20

Not sure if you're interested.

Herald Sun is offering $1 per day for home delivery of the paper as well as online access.

Minimum term is 31 days, so minimum charge is $31.

payments then come out monthly at 28-31 dollars per month (depending on the number of days in the next month) at this rate for 6 months, then they double.

If you want to quit, do so before 5 days before the end of your subscription month, or else they'll charge you again for the next month.

I haven't had the paper home delivered for ages, but will give this a go for a month and see if I find it useful or a waste of time. Looking forward to trying the Herald Sun app/website for new updates, and see how well/poorly they do it. (and I want to see the Murdoch take on the Trump "crisis")

I wouldn't pay anything to Murdoch….plus with incognito window and google.com.au you can get all articles anyway.

    • Yeah but what about wrapping the veggie peels and putting in the bird cage?

    • I get incognito/private browsing to work on theage.com.au, but haven't got it to work for Herald Sun news (happy to learn otherwise though)

          @shmahoo:

Go to heraldsun.com.au - you see the headlines listed. Copy the text of the headline.
          Open a new incognito window
          go to google.com.au
          paste the text
Click on the result that has the article

  • Anyone know how do you cancel this sh!t?
I revoked billing access to paypal, and now they're having a whinge about not being able to bill me.
Is this sufficient? Can I just delete the email alias and never hear from them again?

    • not trying to sound like your mum, but why don't you call them?

      • Nah, (profanity) them for making me call. I can sign up online but have to call to cancel?
I send them an email saying telling them to terminate my subscriptions and stating that I've deleted the email alias and don't want to hear from them again.
