    Chaos Spectrum Wired/Wireless Mouse $127

Is that for a box of 10 ?

come on… you're usually wittier than this. Lost your touch?

        Lost your touch?

I upgraded to an iPad years ago.

  • How does this compare with the Master?

    • +3

This is a gaming mouse. It uses an optical sensor while the MX Master uses laser and performs really well even compared to wired mouse. Both have the rolling scroll mode.

The latency will be way better than the Master, the battery life will be worse. I'm not sure, maybe you'd need to have it plugged in a few hours a day? But under those circumstances you can just leave it while your computer's on standby overnight or even use it as a wired mouse. It would be heavier than a standard gaming mouse because of batteries.

Also it's ambidextrous unlike the Master, has the Logitech "G" gamer aesthetic, and has more macro(?) buttons.

        Thanks.
I don't ever remember the Master missing a beat while I gamed, but that's probably because I'm too pleb to notice.

Probably clearing them out for the incoming wireless charging version.

    • +3

Yeah, but you have to buy the wireless charging kit separately I believe. So, overall at this price this mouse was worth it for me.

      • You do, but you also don't have to charge it that way.

Thanks mate bought one my m65 is slowly dying

  • +4

Thanks… this will go well with my G302, G402, G502, G602 and G910, all picked up during DSE demise. Never paid full price for any Logitech gaming related hardware :)

    • Lol, damn, I thought I was bad! :)

      I have G9X, G602, G700S, MX Master and M570…waiting for the G903!

      • LOL I have the MX510 and MX518 as well. They worked well until the LMB collapsed lol.

  • This mouse is extremely good, easily my favorite I've used for games including competitive shooters. The shape, light weight and balanced scroll wheel make this much better than the G502 for me.

The one thing I don't like is charging it every 32 hours (25 if you use RGB).

    G903 comes out on Wednesday

    • Yes which is pretty much the same mouse but with the wireless charge feature. Price is horrendous to, seen retailers marking it at over $200 or at $200.

      • Isn't that what HN had the g900 price at from launch until yesterday?

At least MSY and other places were selling it for ~$150 which is what I expect the g903 to be at after a month or so at the real computer stores.

        • Not sure wasn't following the prices on this mouse due to the super expensive pricing I saw on launch.

So if they are around that price then thats good :) stuff Harvey Norman until they price things right.

        • It's the RRP, so I'd say so. JB has it listed at $249.

Would be longer than a month though should drop to ~$150 like you say. I think I got my G900 a month-ish after release for $200.

        • The Powerplay Charging System is $100USD so hopefully we'll see some bundles out of the US to get the G903 + pad for say $250AUD? ;)

Wishful thinking I know! But it looks to be a great setup

Love this mouse and all the extra buttons (especially the sideways scrollwheel clicks!), I don't think I can ever go back to a mouse without these buttons. Having said that, I still think the design of the mouse looks stupid, almost like a batmobile mouse. I still find it comfortable, but it took me a few weeks to get used to the shape (having only had super vanilla shaped mice before). I play all my fps games with this mouse with no problems.

My only complaint is that the scrollwheel is pretty loud imo in the normal scroll mode. I don't like using the infinite scroll mode as I find that I always accidentally scroll when I don't intend to, it's quite sensitive in that mode.

  • Is there much difference between the Logitech G403 Prodigy Wireless?
    http://www.harveynorman.com.au/computers-tablets/computer-ac…

    I need a new mouse and I'm not a gamer… but it's only $88

    • +1

      Not a gamer.

Pick up an MX Master then when they're like $69 or something rather. This one is so expensive mainly due to it being the best wireless gaming mouse out there. You will be paying a premium for a feature that you wouldn't use, unlike the Master which I would assume has features far more relevant to your interests.

Both have Logitech's top of the line sensor
G900 has more buttons and is ambidextrous
G403 is for a right hand user and if don't need more than that standard layout then it's all you need
If you don't feel the need for a top of the line sensor go with something cheaper.

  • +1

    $165-175 at most pc stores

    • yup $149 @ MSY

  • I wonder if EB games would price match?

    • Theyd probably check if your local HN has stock

  • Sold out I believe, no website page, and my local store said they didn't even have it in their system anymore.
