    But pr0nhub is already free
    :P

    • Yes but this has cadaver slices.

    • Is this child (age 9 years) appropriate app?

  • Thanks OP. Wife is doing yoga teaching and has found these anatomy apps indispensable for understanding and explaining to students. This one looks to be very comprehensive.

I want to join your wife's yoga class.

There is an IAP for $30.99 for patient education animations. Not sure if this is required though.

    • No it's not required for using the app

  • Used to pick up these kind of medical books for $1.50 at garage sales, along with incomplete Olympus encyclopaedias, still missing O-U.

It’s very difficult to get a sagital cross section of the brain sections around the foramen magnum, there’s no option to dissect the skull cleanly across its axis to cleanly reveal the foramen. There is the cross section slice mode but the arbor vitae crowds the view and you can’t dissect it, you can only fade it, which still makes the cerrebellar tonsils still very hard to see. You can’t even flip the cross sections to get a rear view of obscured structures.

It’s definitely not worth $32, but still handy to have for $1.50, if they let you dissect in the cross section mode, undo dissections, and bookmark positions for quick reference then it’d be worth more.

  • When I search for "Human Anatomy Atlas" I find this one, called "Human Anatomy Atlas 2018 - Complete 3D Human Body" for $1.49 as in the OP. However there's another one called "Human Anatomy Atlas - 3D Anatomical Model of the Human Body" for $38.99. How do they differ? Is this one really $38.99 originally, or is OP confusing this with the other one?

    Thanks. Bought 3.

The human body does not receive a yearly upgrade so why the need of a yearly atlas?

  • +1

Was going to buy this anyway. Now there's a deal. Damn. Thanks.

  • I don't know the difference between this and others such as Pocket Anatomy but got it anyway since it's on sale.

I have the earlier version that they have stopped updating. Sadly can't run the newer version on non 64 bit IOS devices.

For anyone that has this new version, does the male model still come pre-circumcised? Seemed a bit odd for an anatomy app to do that.

    • A circumcised penis would show the tip of the penis (glans) more clearly with it having to be erect

That's true, but it's like saying that leaving out the top of the skull makes it easier to see the brain. The app is very much able to remove various layers to be able to view hidden parts, no need to remove body parts completely from the app in the first place. Kind of loses some credibility in my mind because of this.
