Came across this while browsing for my Friend's kid.

I believe that this is cheaper than current ebay(considering the deals as well). Called up the store to check the stock availability and was informed that stock is available.

        I guess it is not anti-chinese … but more anti-knockoff. There is so much money made and it's still necessary to copy things and not value new ideas and creativity. I rather spend a bit more and support the company who invented that stuff.

      there is a whole ecosystem of projects add on and support with the lego system ….. and you can resell it without too much loss….. won't be the same with the chinese copy though i guess the chinese would love these being used in australian schools ..as part of their confucius program or what ever they call it…. like comparing raspberry pi and the orange pi ….. raspberry pi has much better support and a broader community .

        In general I've gotten better deals from Myer when they do 20-30%, or Big W with their 20% and eGiftcards, on Lego - dunno about Mindstorms, I don't buy those, but other Lego, on par deals with ShopForMe. ShopForMe was a good comparison for prices up until this recent turn.
