Seen this deal at Costco for the 2017 MacBook Pro with a further $130 taken off, usually these retail for $2699, not as cheap as the previous MYER deal on eBay though if you missed out $2419 is still a pretty good price.
Not sure if Officeworks will price match / beat.. worth a try.
These can be found on eBay for as low as $2127.60 using the code PINCH. Not sure if they are local imports but the seller has a local address ( eclipse_ store_au ) it shows only 8 available but these type of listings usually renew showing 10 again.
I was at Costco Casula yesterday and saw the previous generation base model MBP 13" (MF839X/A) for $1600. In case anyone is looking for that model (with MagSafe, USB-A, etc).

FYI, the SSD is soldered to the motherboard in these.
Forget upgrading, and forget popping it out to recover data if you have system issues.
Even upgrading the non soldered SSDs are expensive, I learnt the hard way thinking I could upgrade my mid-2013 MacBook Air from 128gb though very very expensive
